What do you want to do?

There seems to be little to no chat on the forum and the LS in general. What's everyone up to? What do you want to do? Should we have more LS events? Possibly LS pt's? Any thoughts? Or do we just drone on and let the LS die?

Much like the real world the shell is full of real people, real emotions, and real problems. Also like the real world people bring the destructive nature most human beings harbor. The shell is deflating from what i hear. Actions speak much louder than words, and so many of your actions are saying "yes let it die" but so many of your words are begging to keep it alive. What do i want? If you think about it i tried so many things to keep the shell alive mass recruiting, mass decruiting, mass helping. All of those actions said yes let's keep it alive and so do my words keep this shell alive.
I think alot of you think of the shell as already dead and that's really too bad, it appears to be in a comatose state atm and if you quit feeding it it's gonna die.

i would hate to see our ls die. and i have noticed that the chattin has declined a bunch. however, the reason for that could be simply people are too busy, i dont talk to the ls much if im pting, maybe alot of others are as well....

i also recuit people when i can, but most say no ty, they have shells, so idk, seems that even bran new noobs have shells now a days

Lately I agree the shell has been quiet and in my opinion shrinking...if not in total number of LS memebers, then in number of 40+ or 50+ people. This is something that has been frustrating to me as of late. I am beginning to see why some others have moved on to other shells, or at least split time with other shells. I continue to think that the people in this shell are great. They are friendly and its a good group of people to talk with etc... However as I've been leveling my BLM (which is now 51) I have found it increasingly difficult to find LS help with things I need to get accomplished. I understand its not always because people arent willing to help, but its more of the case that most people arent high enough lvl to be of much assistance. As I continue to lvl BLM, things like AF, ranks 5+, BCNMs, maybe Zilart Missions, even camping an NM that drops a Moldivite Earring (an important rare/ex BLM item) these types of things are seemingly impossible to get help with unless ur in a LS that has higher level members who need to do similar things as well. Despite my efforts to get LS help, I had to get outside help on all of the Genkai 1 items which frustrated me, and I just have a gut feeling things are going to continue this way. I try to do my part and help other people (levels 20-40) do things that I know they need help with, that I can help out with...but it seems there arent many people around my level on the shell....I

I really dont know where Im going with this. Maybe Im just venting, but after reading about a few other LS out there on AK or whatever, Im not going to lie and say that it hasnt crossed my mind to look into maybe joining another LS, at least partly, to get help with stuff of this nature.

I am in NO way bashing this LS as it has been my home for a long time, and I really enjoy the company of people on it....but I can see why some of the others arent on as much if at all anymore...

yes crim, it is true, there are alot of sub 40's (myself as well) but take the stargasior road then, if ya get a shell that has all high lvl people, ull get the help u need. maybe if im lucky, i can lvl like mad and help you out too lol, only 43 lvls till 75..

LS PARTYS!! I am always up to pt either for skills or exp (mainly exp ). I still have yet to do an eco, btw sorry bout last wednesday i got d/c and the server wouldn't let me back on. But otherwise im not sure what other events we could have? maybe nm camping or farming???

oddly enough most of my recruiting happens during eco-warrior. I always mention the LS and the forums and generally get at least 1-3 people who join from eco.

i think if we had a few more events and maybe started to help people more that we might come back together and gain more people.

it might be a loosing battle, but this ls has been my home since i started using LSes and i really don't want to have to change that.

Twice Ikonic has asked this same question, and twice you have all said the same thing. What actions are you to take to plug the gaping holes in the sinking ship?? You can say yes lets keep the shell, but what are you doing. As a member sackholder or not you have to take some ownership in the shell if you expect it to stay alive. Take Ikonic for example, what a member he has been creating a forum organizing events what he has done is phenomenal. What have you done today for your linkshell??
