Play time is over... well not really

Just wanted to post about my current playtime status.
I've pushed pretty hard the last year and a half i've been back playing FFXI and i'm starting to feel the need for a break. 3 level 75 jobs w/ merits, sky, sea, etc. I'm not going to be taking a break like not playing at all for 3 months break but I will not be on as much as per usual. i.e. daily
or if I am, for less time altogether.
I will still try to attend any LS events, functions, runs with my Dynamis LS, etc. I also still check the forums daily so send me a PM or whatever if you need me for anything.
This could all be BS lol but i've been taking a little more time off from the game in general lately and I've been feeling better in general, not sure if there is a direct correlation between the two but maybe.

Yeah well to all you guys who said you were quitting and didn't I pulled off the next best thing... or something....
My Content ID's are cancelled for some reason, possibly due to my credit card being denied and unable to make payments... which is odd because my credit is fine and what not but until I get that all squared away I will be MIA from the game for awhile... may just take this as a sign for a break but I will probably just threaten my bank until they fix this so I can resume showing everyone how cool Taru's can be....

It appears there was some confusion regarding my credit card or some such deal, I might be able to log on after work.

In the meantime during my weekend and Monday of not being able to play, I finally finished playing Gears of War on hardcore, got my dual Heaven swords and reached about 125% map coverage on Castlevania: SOTN and then played FFXII for about... 20 straight hours, maybe only 19 I forget.
FFXII should be labeled "We'll help you quit FFXI in just one game". The play mechanics especiallly after setting up Gambits made me feel like I was playing online anyways, and sure enough I was playing for about 3 hours with my keyboard on my lap until I realized I didn't need it, and then I kept hitting the right trigger button to auto run but it didn't work ._.

I know what you mean about FFXII pushing FFXI out of the way. The only reason I made it back was because I finally putt FFXII down for a while. Lately, I've been getting the urge to go back and finish it though .....

Yeah, my wife Eriko recently completed FFXII with 93 hours played. She played the JP verison. I played it some also but I was tired of not understanding the story (I can read the menus, though) so I bought thr US version last week. It gives me my FFXI fill, since I can't play without interruptions anymore. I can't pause FFXI. I'm lvl 25 so far.

I still need to go back and finish this game as well. I've really enjoyed it, at first I wasn't sure I would like the Gambit system, but once I adjusted to it, it's been really great. I have been 95% of the way through the story for a long time (so long I have mostly forgotten it), but I have been trying to unlock a bunch of the other stuff. The last thing I remember doing before I stopped playing was getting the Sagittarius. I already have the Tournesol as well. Now, I just need to go back to Stilshrine of Miriam to set up my infinite leveling Gambit loop to get the rest of my people to 99, then I can go Zerg the rest of the game.

I don't like the story of FFXII at all. For me the game is fun but it miss the most important thing on a rpg: a good story.

The story..? what story? ... I just liked Balthier.. sky pimp. I played the game after Val told me about the system and the weapons, so I went that super dungeon for the Zodiac spear asap.. once I had it, I played with just one character and got sick of it. My Bashe is like 35 lvls above everyone else.. haha.

Story is huge.. that's why I'm rank 9 in windy, and 10 in bastok. ... Bastok's story is better than Windy's.

Well it seems even though I got back on ffxi shortly after my original issue, I may not be able to play for either some time or at all come about October...
I was out of town all this weekend so I missed Sky on saturday and limbus sunday.
Saturday I went out looking at a new house with some of my musician friends which happens to be farther away from the city and is in fact a farmhouse out in the more country parts. It's a pretty cool place and we are literally almost going to be living there for free but it also means no actual DSL or Cable internet hookups. I have no desire to attempt dial-up, at least not for gaming purposes although satelite might be an option idk.
I then spent the rest of the weekend down in philadelphia playing music and scoring with and then scoring free theatre tickets from a theater director from new york XD. Fun stuff, and it makes me want to spend less time playing ffxi every time I get into these situation lol.
Sure i'll probably be around for a few more weeks before I move but I might not be able to come back for who knows when...
Of course everytime I say something like this I find a way back to the game but oh well, just thought i'd put it out there before I randomly just disappear...

My play time has been super limited as well... Idk if anyone has noticed! Been working 6 days for about a month now... Ive also been working on my relationship, hanging out w junior and back in the gym.....So I always say ima log in but pass out before i can do it...Besides making limbus and dynamis once a week I havent really been able to do much else in game. Ill probally never quit the game.. Lol ill probally leave my character to my son when he gets old enough to play... (hes 2 atm)

My playtime has hit the wall as well. Got exams coming up in a week and 2 video assignments to be handed in. It's been nearly 2 months I've gone without worrying about any type of school work whatsoever. Hopefully it'll all be over soon...

I shouldn't have much problem attending events but anything else is pretty much haywire at the moment. I know Class/RL > FFXI but I need a break every so often :S
