Here we have it, direct from the TGS is a screenshot of the 1st new job, Dancer!  The proof is here, however it is direct from Japan so it's in direct Japanese. I've had a few friends who know Japanese clarify it and they're pretty sure with it. But that's all I got for you, I'll keep you guys posted if I find anything else. |

...maybe next time they should take less input from Kao and Shash when they decide what new jobs are going to be added.
Seriously, this has to be some sort of elaborate hoax...
Did they make any mention of it being a female only job, or do T and I need to make new characters: Chip and Dale?

They are really reaching for jobs now aren't they. I here the next job they are coming out with is Bureaucrat. You just bury the mob in paperwork until he gives up and kills himself. The 2 hr is Red Tape and the relic weapon is a #2 pencil.

It makes sense as this is one of the only "old" jobs from previous FF games that hasn't been implemented. I was more or less already expecting this although I still question if it's real...
How would the job work is anyone's guess as SE has a tendency to tweak the jobs in FFXI a little more than past games.
My best guess is like BRD they rely on CHR and maybe AGI for their dances, might only be able to do 1 dance at a time to keep that effect going, but then that seems to make them less effective than BRD or COR...
Dancer in past FF is more enfeeble style than PT boost like BRD so it seems they may be a viable alternate to RDM but with different style.
I still don't see this being true XD lol for the sake of all the male dancers i'm going to have to endure.
In terms of other jobs they plan on releasing is anyone's guess. I was suprised by how awesome they finally made BLU in a FF game, PUP was a completely new twist as well as COR. I understand how everyone wants new jobs to play with but really how many more jobs can they introduce while still being truly effective?
I'm expecting any other new jobs would be hybrid/new classes that we've pretty much never seen before. You pretty much have to eliminate certain jobs like Time Mage or Oracle as they have been bastardized into other jobs like RDM, WHM already.

well.. in tactics, I used Dancers. it was female only while bard was strictly for the dudes.. and the bards kinda sucked... clearly they don't here.. but.. I can't imagine what kind of enfeebs a dancer could get... kill tp.. slow/stop.. atk/def/acc down... I guess stuff for stats. 2hr = soldier boy. I'll take Corsair's Roll over all of that. ... idk.. I hope it -is- strictly for broads.. so then guys can get their own job.. otherwise, I'll have to make Chip.
my guess for jobs are ones that involves beastmen or specific roles NPCs could play... spy or somethin.. if you think about the story of the war, it's all about beastmen battles and the midland locations.. but when I think about the past over all, there's also things like the Galka being run out of the desert by the ants and humes founding bastok - disturbing the quadav initially when mining palborough. I'm looking forward to seeing my man Invincible Shield... but.. he was pretty much known for school'n San d'Orian battles.. like Konschtat.. ... if you can think of the story, fill in the blanks for characters and try to figure out what their jobs could be.. cuz that's what they'll make for us. I imagine the characters will be the ancestors of prominent national NPCs.. and something w/ Tavnazia. Square's clever.. the answers will be in front of us the whole time.
