I never said it was an American car, I just said Mazda was owned by Ford. I KNOW it's not an American car, hence why I bought it.

One of the dealers I went to had sold an RX-8 out from under me (I scheduled a test drive and then they neglected to let me know when they sold me the car the night before) and he suggested that instead I check out a WS-6 Firebird he had in stock, as it was "bad to the bone".

After my first Pontiac, I can say that I will never again buy another Pontiac, and probably will do my very best to avoid buying an American car. I realize, of course, that this is silly, as the quality of American cars has risen dramatically across the board in recent years. However, as they say, fool me once...

Anyone notice due to this post, there are now advertisements for Mazda RX8 Parts at the top of the main page? lol... RX8 and RMT... it -does- have a lovely sound to it. However, I'd use the former to splatter the latter. Holla.
