PEARL CHANGE AGAIN!

Well, it has become apparent that there are several people on PiF who are not interested in it's success or well-being, and who would in fact rather see it fail. Earlier today, someone booted every non-sackholder on and ran. I will not name names.

In order to ensure that it does not happen again, we are moving to another new shell. I realize how much of a pain this is, and I am sorry. However, I am unwilling to let a few people ruin this experience for me and everyone else. There are friends I have on this shell that I am unwilling to give up, and I am not going to let a few petty people ruin it.

Please talk to me, Stilgar, or any of the other sackholders from PiF if you would like to come with us. I hope to see all of you joining us on HouseAtreides.

THE OFFICIAL SWITCH TO THE NEW SHELL WILL TAKE PLACE ON SATURDAY, THE 20TH OF NOVEMBER. WE WILL BEGIN OUR 3rd ERA WITH A MEETING FOR THE ENTIRE SHELL. PLEASE MAKE IT IF AT ALL POSSIBLE.

First of all, thats mad g.ay what happened... for once I'll be nice and not say names, even tho I'm sure everyone knows who did it anyways. It's messed up to ruin a linkshell that isnt even yours to begin with, if you have a problem, get the hell out, dont bring everyone else down with you. Same as Val said, Ive made a lot of cool friends in this shell, and its f-ed up to do this while Rock is gone. Obviously he thought you could handle being a sackholder and had a right to be in a cool group of people, its too bad you couldnt live up to that. I mean its a game people, dont ruin it for others. But hey a-holes stick together, have fun in your empty LS >.<

Note that I will not act out and scold someone for something that I did not witness, but I would like to know what exactly happened. I don't expect everyone to come over to the new shell. I do however very much hope that a lot of you do. I realize that there was a lot of drama in PiF. And sadly, it was there from the very beginning. We are going to take steps to ensure that it doesn't happen in HA. A few people came into PiF with a very bad attitude. I would ask that if you are going to bring negative feelings and animosity into the new shell that you instead just don't come at all. We all saw where it got us last time.

I have all the faith in the world in Stilgar as the head honcho. Even though this shell has never really had a 'leader' really, I think it is very important that the owner be very active on the shell. And I feel like Stilgar will be able to do this job very well.

This is not to say that I don't think Rockra was a good leader or 'owner' by any means. I think it was just a matter of Rock having other things to tend to, and I understand that real life takes precedence over the game, so there are certainly no hard feelings about. It is just simply too difficult to run a shell when the owner is not around.

I have a lot of faith in the people of this shell, and I think that we can use HA as a new beginning, without the problems that PiF had right from the start. I think it's very important for everyone to come to the meeting on saturday the 20th if at all possible.

ALSO, DO NOT WORRY IF YOU CANNOT GET A PEARL FOR THE NEW SHELL BEFORE THE MEETING DATE. THERE WILL BE SACKHOLDERS FOR HOUSEATREIDES THERE TO PASS THEM OUT BEFORE THE MEETING.

I have been a member of rockhak since the beginning and will gladly join this shell. I am glad to see that Stilgar is head of it cause he is always on when I log on and is an active member of PiF now. Dish a pearl out my way Stilgar

this ls has been my good friend throughout my time on ff11 and to hear about someone trying to tear it apart really pisses me off......I want to stick with the ls but if rockhak becomes divided into 2 seperate ls's then im not sure what im going to do. I will follow my friends to the end so send me a pearl and i will make my decision after this migration is finished.

ok i dont even know what is going on! Like IK said i would like to know who did it send me a PM. Cant we just kick the person or persons? how come we need a new shell? well either way i go where my friends go. val and stil u guyz have my full support. im kinda in the dark about whts going on but i trust youz. sorry i havent been on in a few, been working like crazy for the holidayz! so i guess ill see ya all in the new shell!
p.s. when is this meeting on saturday? do u have a time yet? i work at night so ill have arion be on

We cannot simply kick the person or persons because they are a sackholder, and therefore they can only be kicked by the shell owner. Our shell owner no longer plays, so there is no way to kick them.

I think that we need to make sure that we have the shell owner as someone who is still playing. Even if we could get rid of the guilty person or persons, we still would not be able to do some of the administrative things that go along with running an LS.

Therefore, I think it is in everyone's best interest that we make the change, only this time without the bitterness that came last time. Stilgar has my full support as an owner.

Originally, I thought it might be a good idea to tell everyone exactly what happened and who done it at the meeting. However, I think actually it might be better that we keep the names between the sackholders only. It's not that I do not trust the non-sacks, I just don't want to create any ill-will toward the person(s) who did it. Regardless of how they chose to leave the shell, they were still a member and to spread bad feelings around is simply not something that we do on this shell. If you feel that you simply must know, you can probably figure it out for yourself, or the sacks can decide if you really need to know. I would ask that those of you who do know do not hold it against them. Do not stoop to their level.

I know who did it, but thats not important what is important is that i will be wiling to follow the ls to its end... So i'll be on HA but i just need to what time the meeting will be held at on Saturday so i can make sure i am present.

The meeting is at 8 PM EST. That means 7 PM CST. I can't really say for the other time zones. If this changes, I will let you all know ASAP.

I think the meeting will be held in San d'Oria. It would be really great if everyone could not only be on the shell at the time, but also in Sandy. That way it will be easier to get pearls to those who do not have them yet and such. Plus, it will give us a chance to get to see one another and get a feel for the people in the LS.
