Val did sort of. He hadn't reached sackholder status as of then. I think it was actually Hak who came and found me out in W Ron and gave me the pearl. It was probably on my third day of playing, i had no clue what was going on at all. I just kept sending Val /tells about stuff i was doing cuz he was the only one i knew. I killed a gob and an orc that had aggrod at once (which at lvl 5 was impressive i thought) and i told Val, he said 'tell the shell, they'll be impressed' so i did, and everyone on there congratulated me. it was so cool. From then on, i knew RH was a place that was going to make this game so much more than just a game ^^ Share your storied of how you got your pearl!

Rock did. I first met him as maybe a lvl 10 (i can't remember that long ago). I had just exited ghelsba and he walked up to me and asked if i wanted a pearl. I wondered what he was pushing (big guy, sorta scary), but i took it anyways and figured i'd drop it if it turned out wrong. Well, i haven't dropped it and it's turned out to be one of the main reasons i'm still playing ffxi. Thanks rock.

Rock gave my mule Idaho my 1st pearl after partying with him in the dunes and Nazty gave my main character his pearl, also in the dunes.

I got my pearl from Rock. I was logging or something in Ghelsba, and he came up and asked me if I wanted to join this linkshell. At the time, I really had no clue what a linkshell even was for. I was sooooooo close to just saying no thanks, and I'm glad I decided to give it a whirl b/c there is no doubt in my mind I would have quit a long time ago.

I got on, everyone said hi, I got kind of used to some of the people and I haven't shut up since.

Stri gave me mine. We worked together over the summer and his incessant rambling about this damn game made me go out and buy it for myself. A short while afterwards, stri became a sackholder and I ran into him in sandy. He gave me the pearl, i tried out a few jokes, you guys laughed, and now you're stuck with me. It's stri's fault, really.

Well man it was a long time ago, but Hak was the one who gave me my pearl in E Ronfarue. Though I met Rock first doing the "rescue mission" (this predates RockHak). I met Hak going to Valkurm Dunes I was lvl 15 they were 17-18 they needed sj items, and Rock and Hak were bickering over who would voke and die if the crap hit the fan. It was agreed that Rock would, well eventually we drew aggro from a leecher or gambler while fighting a fly. Well Hak being true to himself voked and lead it away from the party even though he had only 50% hp. Rock continued to tank the fly for the party. I on the other hand chased down Hak and his gobbie buddy. By the time I found them Hak was poisoned and near death but had taken the gobbie to the brink.

Back when I had first started as my elvaan exploring FFXI for the first time I came across Rock in Ghlesba and he just offered me a pearl, probably because he saw I had none and I remember putting it on for the frist time. I didnt know anyone back then and was real quiet and didnt talk much...but then as I tried a few jobs out, I discovered how much I enjoyed playing as a BLM and eventually bit the bullet and rerolled with my Taru. I didnt bother asking for another pearl because I didnt really think anyone would bother to care seeing as I was just some noob. Anyways about a month later I partied with Strive in Valkrum and really enjoyed his company...and I remembered his name from my old char. So I asked for a pearl and he graciously obliged. Im really glad I got another shot with RockHak, cuz I really think this LS rocks and everyone is really friendly and helpful and makes playing the game SO MUCH more enjoyable.

Strive hurry up and get back to Vanadiel, i miss your parties!

CRIM!!! im glad i got you that pearl, parties with you as my whm have kicked ass!! im workin as hard as i can (meaning punching everyone in our tech department) to get the damn internet fixed.

rock, i feel your pain, as much as i can anyway. You and hak have passed on the love to each and every member of RH, and though we all miss hak, we carry on knowing he's still out there, probably complaining about something, and he'll be back one day, just hang in there^^

i got mine indirectly from kai, we were partying a lot in the maze of shaka....shaki...sahaka...wheres the autotranslate when you need it. she got hers through Arion i guess, and by the time we got to Quifim, she called somebody i think rock or hak, i dont remember which, who came and gave me a pearl i was so impressed to get one from the person whose name was in the title
but anyway thats how a far-off windhurstian foreigner made it into rockhak
