I need to start these, have done a couple before as other char but need to do them as Urielle. Just need to rope in enough ppl who have aleardy done it to help out and guide as I was confused as hell all the way through em. anyone know what jobs HAVE to come as I think its pretty rigid bar about two/three slots

I'm not sure about what jobs "are" needed, But for mine we did war/ninx2 smnx2 blm and the other i don't remember, basically war's just shadow tank it till smns can 2hr it to death. i think it works with 2nins also.

Edit: now i remember 6th was Ranger for finding the Memory REcpticle and EES 2hr during fight

i did enm fights the ther day for about 9k xp to total. Took about 1.5 hours to do all 3 pretty fun and easy....

I need them too... The last time I tried them was with you guys about 6 months ago.. AND WE FAILED!!!! Anyways, I'm down for another try. WAR/NIN and MNK/WAR just give me a day advance so I can get some gear.

The only jobs really needed are tank, healer, and dd. If the people are experienced enough this can be done with 1 tank, 1 healer, and 3 DD. RNG and SMN are totally not needed for these fights if everyone knows what he/she is doing and how to work together. I did not do a single Promy with a RNG or a SMN.

However, since most of you who are wanting this are not very experienced in it I'd recommend 2 tanks (WAR/NIN, NIN/WAR, or PLD/WAR) 1-2 healers (WHM and RDM, SMN, BLM, or BRD) and 2-3 DD (SMN, MNK, THF, or anything else).

From my experiences BLM isn't a great DD for promies, but can do well enough and works well to take care of the Strays. I've done these as MNK, WAR, and NIN personally and with MNK and WAR I was doing enough DMG to pull hate from the tank (if I wasn't already the tank). THF can also do great DMG and with a properly setup SATA a good chunk of HP of the mob can be taken off.

I recommend using EternalMemories' CoP Guide.

Communication, organization, food/medicines, and anima are vital to making these successful runs. Anima are very important and make sure you take the time to farm for them.

I agree with Ikonic, that 2 tanks is usually the best way to go. I also agree that getting things properly set up is really the key to winning these. The fights themselves are not particularly difficult if you can execute everything properly. If you have planned well ahead of time, your odds of everyone doing their part properly rise dramatically. A ways back, we put together a very successful Promyvion run on the shell, which myself and Striveldt put a lot of time and effort into organizing. They take a LONG time to do all at once, and the strategy may have changed slightly based on the alterations they made to RNG, but those threads should still be a good stepping stone.

Also worthy of note, I once did Promyvion-Mea with a party of 29SMN/WHM, 30WAR/NIN, 30WAR/NIN and 30RNG/NIN (myself). To this day it remains the most impressive group effort I have been a part of. Ask Striveldt, he was sitting in my living room watching it.
