I know several LS members are stuck on getting through CoP. After helping Taliesin, Merlinwilt, Volum and Ally get to the 6-4 airship fight i've decided that i'm going to try to get more ppl further along in CoP missions. I can't garuantee getting everyone to sea, but seeing as some of the missions have been made significantly easier it's not as stressful.
Bear in mind my real goal here is to try to get everyone working together and setting up real scheduled event times to get these missions done. That includes reaching outside the LS, even if it means shouting in town to recruit.
I know these missions can suck. The length of time required, planning, and gil for items makes people wince but let's face it, if you really want them done, really want those nice shiny pimp ass rings, you're going to have to do some real work, and drop quite a bit of gil on level cap gear and consumable items.
I also know repeating these missions sucks. I've done every single mission, BC and NM fight with the exception of 6-4 at least 2 times, and upwards of 6 to 7. And i'm talking about wins, not the losses. I've seen several members ask if anyone needs certain missions, and in reply some people state they need the next mission after or earlier, but an attempt to form a static group is not made. That's what i'm trying to bridge. Sometimes you have to go back and help someone get to where you're at to go further.
Obviously due to differing schedules, time zones etc. This isn't going to work for everyone. However for those that are able to work with me, I am going to require you check the forum here for details and updates. Also if you're going to be unable to attend, simply post up or PM (private message) me. I will try to check on the forum right up to start times. This being all said, i'm going to ask anyone who is interested in seriously trying to get further in CoP to post under this thread with the following info.

-Best suitable days and time for runs. I need specific details on this, not generalizations as some missions can take upwards of several hours to complete.
If I get a positive response and we set up any runs, i'm going to require that you do some research into every mission prior to start time. Head to Wiki or whatever site you rely on for ffxi info and read through the mission description and walkthrough so you are better prepared. Make sure to always have all Cutscenes and pre-requisites done ahead of time. We will not be waiting an hour after start time to finish something up.
If a mission requires certain consumables such as food, medecines, special items etc. you'll need to have them with you. On this point i will not make exceptions. If you are short on gil, we can try to work something out. If you don't feel that you need to spend money to get through these missions, then feel free not to run. Examples for every mission would be some form (and multiple) of reraise, Hi-potions, Hi-ethers, yagudo drinks, Icarus wings, food etc. It depends whethere you're a mage or a melee.

Edit: Bear in mind we will start with the lowest members missions. Due to numbers/jobs multiple runs may be necessary, this is not something I plan on having done in a week or even a month, although it is possible. If no one is willing to devote time to getting the whole group caught up, we simply stop. Obviously if we are at mission 5-1 and someone new wants promyvs we're not going to wait to proceed, I will try to schedule them separately.
