What to buy?

I'm going to be looking to make a big purchase some time soon and I'm trying to decide what to buy. I think it's going to be either

A Sniper's Ring, A Valkyrie's Mask, or Abs-DEX

I am a 47 DRK and I'll be picking up a life belt and a new great sword soon, as well. Also I'm probably going to need some new armor soon (but maybe I can get that through conquest points?). My current rings are 2 Defts and my head piece is a Centuran's Visor.

What do you guys think would be best for me right now?

I'd suggest Sniper's Ring if you don't have at least one. As a DRK you'll miss fairly often and the delay on your weapons sucks. By lvl 55-60 you'll need to have 2 Sniper's Rings unless you're using Sushi and even then it wouldn't hurt to have the rings.

As a DD you should always upgrade your weapons before anything else, but as a Magic caster also you need to have your spells up to date right afterwards. Personally I'd get 1 Sniper's Ring, then Weapon, then Absorb-DEX, then Valkyrie's Mask. You might also ask other DRKs in the LS since they may have a better point of view on the topic and since I've never even unlocked DRK.

i wanted the mask really bad...so that's what i bought. But i also have a venerer's ring (+3 acc) and a deft. So far, i don't miss very often at all, and in fact am usually the closer for a distortion skill chain (with slice or hard slash respectively).

My next big purchase will definitely be a sniper's and i'm going to sell the deft, but a venerer's ring has only 2 acc less and costs under 100k, therefore i will have sniper's and venerer's for the rest of the game.

also, the v mask will be good until lvl 60 when you get your AF helm (unless you want the RK helm...but it's not necessary)

abs-dex is lowest on my list, as abs-agi and abs-vit seem to be the two that benifit the party the most (and abs-str if i know i'll be using a weapon skill on that mob..but you're a drk, you know the drill)

anyway, i say sniper's >> fausser >> vmask >> abs-dex

or just get the mask right away if you're vain like me.

I think that soon I will probably be ready to get rid of one of my Sniper's Rings since my SAM is dead, so you could probably get away with borrowing that for a while, and really Stri, the same goes for you, I have 2 that I will not be needing for a while once my RNG hits 45.

I would buy the Valkyrie's Mask before Absorb-DEX, like Stri said, just because I don't think Absorb-DEX is REALLY that important. It would be nice to have, but it could wait.

Id try for the mask before nething. Personally becuse it will last u til 60 then u can sell it back and use the gil towards something else (sniper's ring, haubergeon, vassago's scythe, assult earring). Also a venerer ring+ deft ring combo works nicely. If ur really worried about missing then use some sorta sushi ( sole, squid). Just get ready to farm cause b/t 50-59, drk gets expensive.

On a lil side note, dont be stupid like me and never lvl ur GS. Its a pain in the arse findin a skil up pt and have to lv it.
