I'm looking to do Divine Might on Saturday, December 2nd at 5pm CST. If you are interested in helping or need it please reply here with your job and lvl. If more than 18 people confirm and show for the event the first 18 will be taken.
It is vital that we have multiple Ark Pentaspheres in case we fail our first run. Please respond if you have one or not. If you have one from a previous run that was used it is useless and you will need to toss it and obtain a new one. They can only be obtained between 0:00-3:00 on clear weather days during Full Moon. If you do not have one use lokyst's FFXI Crafting Timer to calculate possible trade times to obtain one.
Please have all required items with you, especially a Reraise item. If we have a full wipe after defeating 2 of the mobs we can still win if everyone can reraise and continue fighting.
Required Items:
- Ark Pentasphere
- Poison Potions (12)
- Echo Drops (12--all casters)
- Food
- Reraise items (expect to die and expect mages not to have time to raise you. Make sure you have a minimum of 5 charges.)
- Appropriate gear (uncapped)
- Hi-Potions
- HP Regen Drinks
- Hi-Ethers (mages)
- MP Refresh Drinks (mages)

Strategy:
- Kill order: Taru, Mithra, Galka, Hume, Elvaan
- Enter BCNM.
- Everyone buffs up and rests to full (most of the buffs are done outside).
- MNKs start boosting, everyone move down the stairs and target the TT, main tank targets TT and gets ready to voke.
- 4 kiters each target appropriate mob and get ready to kite.
- 2 sleepers each target the pets.
- When MNKs are near 10th boost I call "go".
- Kiters each gain hate of appropriate mob and start kiting back and forth to entrance.
- Sleepers each sleep their pet.
- Main tank vokes TT and everyone but kiters attack it.
- When MR kiter gets back to arena TT should be about dead. If it is MR kiter runs circles in the arena until TT is dead and main tank is ready to voke. Everyone will need to use poison potions when fighting MR.
- Other kiters keep running from the entrance to the arena, but not entering the arena.
- Kiters will keep kiting until rest of alliance is ready to fight. If needed kiting will continue while people rest.
- Two mages will be assigned sleep duty. If we have enough mages each kiter will have a mage tag along to cast various enfeebles and do emergency healing. NIN, THF, or RDM kiters preferred.
Specific Additional Information:
Ark Angel TT
- BLM + DRK
- Use Barparalyzra and Barstonra.
- Does AE attack [Amon Drive] that can paralyze and petrify, doing 100-300 damage
- Casts up to level 4 magic
- Teleports around
Ark Angel MR
- THF + BST
- AoE Sleep: Everyone use Poison Potions (even mages).
- Has a pet.
- Can charm pt members.
- Rampage WS for 800+ damage towards the end of fight.
- [Havoc Spiral] for 2-300 damage.
Ark Angel GK
- DRG + SAM
- Has a pet Wyvern.
- Uses Call Wyvern and Meikyo Shisui. It is possible that GK can create a Light Skillchain when using Meikyo Shisui.
- Jump ability that does AoE damage and binds for a few seconds.
Ark Angel EV
- PLD + WHM
- Has an AoE Dispel move; be careful not to lose Reraise!
- Very susceptible to both Bind and Gravity, but one must ensure that she does not have any shadows up.
- May use Invincible and Benediction.
- Uses [Spirit's Within].
- Uses Shield Bash, A LOT, and it has a long stun time. Erase can take out this stun effect so it can be invaluable for this battle.
- Uses AoE attack [Dominion's Slash] that also silences, does
2-300 damage. Buy Echo Drops!
Ark Angel HM
- NIN + WAR
- Susceptible to Bind and Gravity, but one must ensure that he does not have any shadows up.
- Blink tanks.
- Uses WS [Cross Reaver] for 500-900 damage.
