HANMLS:: I need your Item/Event requests!

Not mention the zillions of times we lack the people to do the events in question. There was some 5-6 attempted Kirin runs that got called off because only 10 people showed. How do you think that made Those of us who have a billion points feel? We maybe bitched about it mildly but we never stopped coming to events. If there is an event you would like to see happen, thats what this thread is for. But you have to remember that its not always going to be about what any one person wants. A lot of times with things like DM or Ohats one person would have to wait a few months until 4-5 people also needed DM or Ohats to make the run worthwhile for the LS. What sense is there for doing an event that needs 18, for 1 single person? Only to have another single person need it done 2-3 weeks later? These are the kind of things Ik has to put on the scales when scheduling events.

Its not fair to hold it against members that can show up for the majority of events, even if they do get to pick events to be done in the future. Which we really don't do anyways. If anything we make suggestions and Ik picks what he feels is best at that time. Most of us with points are holding out for something. The number of Nbodies I have passed is insane. But I hold no regrets. And most of the people with points show for events regardless if they are going to get something out of it or not. Hell if the only reason you do events is to get stuff you might as well join a full-time endgame LS. HANMLS was started to give normal non-endgame players a chance at drops and to do stuff that they might never get a chance to otherwise, outside of joining a full blown endgame LS, and the drama thats attached. A lot of HA members have Sky shells of their own and attend events for as well, and do HA events believe it or not for fun, or just to help LS mates who don't have that kind of time.

This is a part time endgame LS. With that in mind you must take into account that all things take time, and to expect immediate results is unrealistic. Took me 2+ years to get the points I have. and it took me that long to get the few drops I wanted. lol@me, but in that time I also got all the zenith gear from Sky, as well as Nfeet, Byakos axe and kirins pole. I love HA for the drops I have. But it took a long time for me to acquire this collection of stuffs. If the 1 event you want to do isn't this month, maybe it will be next month. But you have to communicate with Ik and others to find out what the common wants and needs of the masses are. If everyone in the LS, but the top 10 in points, needed something done do you think the top 10 would complain about it? Hell no. We would show if we could make it, and help the LS. And If everyone but the "top 10" needed the same thing, Ik sure as hell would make it happen.

All very valid points. Thank you for the responses and comments. I do agree with all of them. Glad you all put it into perspective for me. I guess I was just having a hard time wrapping my head around the LS motives. I guess in the end it just sucks that I don't have more time to do things.

I'd like to schedule a BQ run sometime in the next few months. I missed the last run which was like a year ago and have never done the fight. I have a full pop set and if anyone else is interested, please post.

As for some replys on the posts above. I can understand not wanting to 'waste' time fighting some of the lesser gods that may not drop gear that is as desirable or maybe we really don't have anyone interested in anymore. However if during a sky farming session we still manage an easy shot at killing the pop set NMs, I don't think we should just ignore them entirely.

For one thing, it's not like we won't ever use the seals. Buying Kirin pop sets outright will drop the bank fairly quickly. Also if the items are going to floor more often and are less desirable lets lower the point values as incentive to lot them. I'm sure there's still a few ppl that may want some items. There is a post on the forums to suggest change in point vaules, use it.

On the same topic items like Kirin's Osode which seem like 'outdated' gear especially for the amount of points you have to spend, it's partially true. But since the osode is a sellable item. Reducing the point value may encourage ppl to lot it and abuse the amount of points spent per gil that can be made from it. It's hard to police selling something like that, since it's yours after lotting.

As for other Kirin drops. Apparently no one even wants anything other than Wlegs. I took the last Nbody because it was going to floor and I thought that was a little ridiculous. No one wanted it. I dont even have a job that can use it. So its not just suzy and seiryu who have 'unwanted' drops. How many ppl actually want Dbody or Nbody? maybe 1 person per item from what i've seen.

Does that mean we should stop doing Kirin? No. But if we're going to start flooring everything besides Wlegs, I can gaurantee we're not going to fight him very often.

Sea events remain lackluster due to low attendance and actual number of ppl able to attend. It's frustrating but until we get at least 5-6 more ppl even able to attend sea raids, we're pretty much stuck to 2 ix fights and potentially Jofort.


ZNMs and Beastmen raids are great events imo and ppl seem to enjoy doing them. However, we're going to need to start taking shots at he actual SCNM battles soon to retain interest I think. Before doing that though I feel the need to really focus on the setup, scheduling, point per items values etc. The fights are going to require pretty precise coordination whcih we are capable of, but the planning is crucial.

In regards to ZNMs I have a few concerns. i will make a seperate post.

And Jub im glad you where able to get answers to your concerns!! One thing that I might add is patience.... Im probally a prime example of how things work out in the ls... I have been doing events with HA since we started doing them but because of work and going out on most saturdays when im off I have only been able to make about 30% or so of ls events... I had to get a seperate sky shell that ran events at a time that fit more into my availability.. I have been able to pick up items from both shells and pretty much have gotten most items that i wanted...over a period of time... So if your patient enough your points will start to build... I got the first Shurra body when we started which put me in - 's alot of points... So i went to most events for a long time just to help others get items they wanted...and if I got something then yay for me but it wasnt my goal for attending events...

ALso take a look at the top 10 peeps points... check out the amount of points used... If you look they have attended a shyt load of events and not lotted anything most of the time thats how they got so many points....

HA is all about helping each other out and pushing the envelope of things that we can do together!!! I think thats one of the recipes of us being around so long....



Also for events that you are interested in speak them up in ls because alot of people dont check the forum "shame on them" ANd get a list of names or have them all post on the forum intrest in the event and im pretty positive that ik would schedule that event in the near future...

Side note im interested in heca body to bad I missed the kirin run... And point value of osode should be less then wlegs since legs are a much more sought after drop and lesser drop rate then osode...

Also a list of people who are intrested in sea should be made and maybe for points (ID help for no points) start knocking those missions out slowly or a PL session thru some missions.. Because we are really lacking the able members in sea... Just an idea...

I disagree, mainly because every single time we farm sky, we end up spending 2+ hours hitting up these NM's which we don't really NEED pops for, and end up with an incredibly unbalanced number of popsets. We can buy cheap pops for any of them, other than Byakko. Byakko not only drops more valuable items, but he also takes the largest proportion of time to farm. If we only do one farming run per month and spend 3/4 of that time farming things we don't need, and then spend 1/4 time farming something that normally takes the entire duration of the farming run to get a return from (Diorites, Despot) then we have wasted our time imo.

We got lucky with our last farming run, but our actual drops that we get from mobs like SC are worth so much less (timewise) than the other pops, from a completely resource perspective.

Now I don't mind how we ran the last few months. One night we focused completely on Byakko, and then this past farming run we walked around. We did get lucky grabbing a diorite in addition to a gem of the west though, and that will not always be the case with the farming resources we end up with. And since nobody really cares about the drops from them, any time spent gathering, wandering to gods we don't need drops from could be spend farming pops for gods we DO need. You seem to be speaking from a perspective of a shell who has a lot of farming resources and does gods a lot. We just don't. We could easily just buy our seals and pops that we need and be fine off of selling the drops from the gods we do fight for bank (divine log, etc.)

Nobody has requested ANY of the drops from gods that aren't Genbu, Byakko, and Kirin afaik, so why should we do them all that often, or get pops for them and waste our time? I just don't see the point, but then I don't get the requests like Ik does and that's why I am saying everyone should be vocal.

Now there was a "what do you want from sky" post after my first post, and there are several other gods that should be run now, but I just htink it should be on more of a request by request basis like Ohat and I would happily run gods for those that need stuff.

Not saying my opinion is correct, but just explaining where I am coming from in regards to HA itself.

I would like to request some help in making Divine Might a LS event. I tried a month ago to get this together, but it was brought to my attention that many people have events coinciding with the Friday I chose to make the run. I know a good amount of people need this fight (whether to progress with the storyline or get a new earring).

Another fight I would like to schedule sometime in the future is "Storms of Fate." I am currently on CoP 8-3 and have aspirations in getting Apoc. Nigh.

Taranga, I would also like to try this fight, but am a few fights behind in order to get there, so hopefully one day!

You might want to start putting together some ENM runs then. Can't do bahamut v2 without monarch orbs. Can't get monarch orbs without cloud evoker drops.


On another note, I'm still trying for swift belt and byakko haidate.
