Gration Sunday 7/24

Hey guys Toasy brought this up, so I figured we could give it a try. Gration is popped in Misareaux Coast using a Hickory or Picaroon's Shield. These can be bought somewhat cheap in Batallia downs usually. They can also be crafted by a 70+ woodworker. Crafting takes 1 Iron sheet, 2 hickory lumber (farmed off gigas in xarc) It drops Tatami Shield ( wiki.ffxiclopedia.org/Tatami_Shield) If popped with Hickory shield, Tatami is 1/2 drop or so, if popped with Picaroon's it is 100%. This fight is quite similar to Kirin, so it will be a good test of our ability and practice for upcoming sky stuff. Event point info will be added on marmot.darksidenetworks.com/marmot. Unwanted shields will be sold for a gil split to all in attendence or you can donate your share to the ls to buy god pops. Wanted shields can be kept by only the people that bought the pop item, and it will be expected that they are not to be sold.

I'd love to attend, but Sundays rule me out. I can only do Friday and Saturday nights but it's cool if you don't want to change it.

Farmed 2 lumber as war/thf in about an hour. Had Yik craft me a shield, so we have 1 pop so far.

Wanted to say thanks again to everyone for coming out and letting Gration wail on you with his big stick. I forgot to grab screenshots but i'm sure someone took a few good ones. I don't know if anything looks as brutal as him landing a few power attacks in a row.

Seriously watching Stil get floored within 3 seconds of the 1st pop I think everyone new to the fight soiled themselves. Was cool though cause even though Crumb died a lot we seemed to get better with every fight. ^^

In terms of getting some LS funds together, farming a few shields up might not be the worst way to make some cash...
