I'm having trouble with the most recent POL update. I keep getting a POL-1155 error when I try to start up the game. Did anybody else have this problem? Anybody seen any good solutions for this?

Are you trying to run the update in Windower? I know in the past when I've tried to get the updates while using Windower it has crapped out on me.
On a side note - I thought they were going to make the game windowable w/o third party apps?

The official windowed mode is available in the config tool. I'm not using Windower anymore since an update that made me d/c whenewer I tried to get signet.

Nope, no windower. Everything's pretty standard. I tried running the update with the disks in. I've rebooted a few times. No dice.

Are you running POL with admin access? Are you on a network? Do you have other programs running that hog bandwidth (torrent programs or download ones)?
Also, you can try the basic bit of connecting your system directly to the modem so you are the only one online and as such have full bandwidth to do the update. I've had several times where running through a router would crap me out, but running direct works fine.
