I figure we should take a vote(so I set up a poll) to see what the LS thinks of the HA hnmls.. I for one think its a awsome part of the shell and it has given our members lots of new experience and gear that we may not have gotten otherwise.... Also feel free to add comments with your vote if you like.

Personally, I just don't have plans to participate much in HNM events. I would love to be able to help out when I get the chance, but I simply do not have the time to commit to being there.
I enjoyed doing the events, and I think it is really awesome that we can get some of this gear for our members. However, back when I quit in November, I was really burnt out on scheduled events. Part of it was related to my Dynamis shell - which was very rigorous and was starting to feel like an occupation. But even with HA events, they were getting more and more frequent and time-consuming, and it was getting to be more scheduled play time than I really wanted. A lot of people are extremely dedicated to this game and they don't mind (and may even enjoy) treating it like a job - but there are many people who are not like this and it might not be fair to hold them to those standards. Also, many people simply do not have that much play time during a given week and to have to spend the majority of it fulfilling scheduled obligations can be a drag.
Simply put, my schedule does not allow me to commit to participating in a lot of these events, and since it was stuff like that which sort of burnt me out in the first place, I want to be sure I take a step back and pace myself. Like I said, I would love to pop in and help when I can, but I don't want to commit to a bunch of stuff and then disappoint everyone when I can't make it.
Also, I think no matter how much we like to think we're about it, events like this ALWAYS lead to some amount of tension and contention between people and that can lead to problems. We need to remember that we are first and foremost a social shell and the fact that we've gotten to the point where we can do HNM things is the secondary perk. Do you remember when Stargasior was our highest level when he was in his 40s? Now how many members do we have with multiple 75s?

Val makes a good point about being burnt out. Personally I am not, but I also don't make every event that is planned due to RL issues (mainly getting ready to get hitched). Maybe the bigger events we should have once or twice a month and do other events that don't need full alliances such as God pop farming (for an event maybe once a month), Garrison(which I thought was fun), and other events I can't think of atm. It is even possible to do sky farming and then actually do Gods every other month to insure that people can make it. Just a thought because I am down for whatever we all decide.

Schwill has a point, bigger events like ks99 ect. once in a while, since they require lots of time and planning as far as RL is cocerned i mean. For me anyways. I really only attend sundays cause its the only day i can actually get away fro more than 3 hours during the day. Hmm anyone thought about doin events during some week night, not many of us on but maybe its cause nothins goin on.... iono big maybe too ;;. Like ive been thinkin about getting a group together to do bune looks fun with possible big reward. 21-24 hour pop though..... i waited for charby i can wait for bune

pretty much only for members who have Jobs high enough for it... kinda puts limits on the people who can come ..... then we have the people who arent high enough losing interst in the shell period because there is to many HIGH events being run!!Therefore no time for anything else to fit to HELP others get up HIGER to join in....... Hence people leaving........ kinda defeats the purpose of a Social Shell....not by anymeans saying that HA help isnt there as i KNOW everyone does help when they can,,,, and i also KNOW that we can post things that we need to get up,,, sometimes its not that easy for some and its so much more easier and less stressfull if an EXPERIENCED player who actually has been there and done things sets up something.... being new isnt fun in this game at all and i know you can all vouch for that... aka NOOB NEWBIE whatever the case ... not all of us have thick skin so i really do think that some just dont say anything for the fear of being looked at like a dickhead and not knowing what they are doing so they just dont set things up... it is kinda like a job .. you look to your peers or an experienced person for help ... this game is no different ....... and just like UDU said .. it is the PEOPLE that MAKE the LINKSHELL with no people there is no HA~ ........ thats just my opinion anyways......
i agree with Val as well .... YES it does cause tension within our shell ... i may not have done an event .. but trust me i have heard about them ...

I never cared for the excuse that it's only for high-lvl people. ANYONE can make an event if they want to. If you look at our events for the past 6 months you'll see that I've made probably 99% of them. I can't do everything and the sooner people take a step and set up their own events (or even ask for help setting them up) the sooner we'll do more events that people can participate in.
As for people saying they can't join if they don't have a 75 that's BS. I'll take people as low as 60 for a lot of events and maybe lower depending on the event and their job. All it really takes is stepping up and putting yourself out there for events. Hell, I'd not have as many goals completed (Windurst Rank 10, Bastok Rank 10, ToAU Complete, CoP Complete, various Salvage and Assaults, and so forth) if I hadn't taken the initiative to set up and run the events myself.

PRINCESSSS!!!!! I miss you!!!!! But yeah like ik said with the exception of sky and sea (beacause u need access) anyone can come to the events how useful youd be would depend on ur job and lvl... I would also include ksnm99 in that because of the amount of seals and diffuclty in the fights.....
