Hey everyone. Well I finally got to BLM30/WHM15, so that means i can get an advanced job. The job i want to concentrate on next is SMN and was wondering if anyone could help me do any of the following: get the drop for Carbuncle Ruby, look for the weather that is necessary for the job, and get the avatars. If anyone is interested in helping me it would be greatly appreciated. THanks!!

I don't mind helping if I am on and not busy. They made the weather easier to achieve in one of the updates, so the ruby would be the only hard part.

Well, last night i was able to obtain the Carbuncle's Ruby after about 2.5 hours /sigh.. anyway I'm working on the weather because i started the request and i have Wind Water and No Weather so far. I'm on right now working on the rest and I'll keep everyone updated thanks for your interest in helping me so far!!

Well Raizo helped me get my final weather effect and now i'm a SMN! atm i'm SMN07/WHM03. Going to try to get Carbuncle mitts sometime before i hit 20 and will probably need help with that nm since my highest lvl is only 30. Also, is it possible to get the other avatars without having all that fame in the country, for instance, can someone in my party have enough fame for the quest and i also benefit by being able to summon the avatar???

Grats on getting SMN. In order to get the avatars you do need the fame, which is an annoying and potentially long process. With Carby mitts, I will help. I have a prelate key to get us into the door to the area. It is easily beat by a couple 75's.

GREAT! I'm glad that so many are willing to help with the Carby mitts nm... atm I'm SMN16/WHM08 so it won't be long before i'm lvl 20. I won't be much help in the fight because my highest lvl is BLM30/WHM15. but i would appreciate anyone who wanted to help.. we should set a time and place to meet in game to go get them. i know that the nm can be spawned every15 minutes by trading something to something so multiple people should be able to get the mitts in one trip right?? maybe .. anyway looking forward to it.

Well if people already have the pop item. You have to go to the third map in the temple and get the offering but it respawns every few hours. So if nobody has it then we would only get one pop. Weekends are generally best for me, so let me know when everyone plans to go.

well, tonight i hit SMN20/WHM10 so i would love having Carby Mitts!!! so if anyone is online at any time and sees me online please /tell me and we can go try getting the mitts, that would be a huge help! thanks everyone so far and am really looking forward to the mitts
