Continuing with ZNMs again this month as there seems to be quite a bit of interest in ZNM Tier 3+ drops. Setting this for Sun, Dec. 7th @ 5pm CST. Gather together in Whitegate.

We only ended up doing 2 fights today because of the length of the second.

Started out with one of our less liked NMs Cheese Hoarder Gigaroon. For some reason today it was more vicious than usual and managed to kill several of us several times, even though we did the fight the same way as last time when we had very few deaths. Unfortunately, even with all that death the NM wasn't very polite on drops.



Our second fight ended up being our first Tier 3 fight. We did relatively well with very few deaths, but ended up running out of time and the NM zerged (after 70 or so minutes) and we could not continue (or didn't want to spend 2-3 more hrs on it). We only had 11 people for this fight. If next time we have 15+ we should be ok, but we'll need more spike DMG like RNG and BLM.

I just read on BG, that armed gears should be doable by the party setup we had. I think we just need more practice on hitting it with the right nukes at the right times.

we did it the other day on armed gears. only took 1 10% tick to lose rage.

Also learned that after he loses a gear, rail cannon loses power to a cone target, and after it loses the second it is single target.

The more BLM the merrier. It's not particularly hard to tank, so there is no reason you should be kiting this. Its Rail Gun is quite powerful, and when all three gears are up it has a range of 20' from the gear. All of you mages can avoid getting hit by this with good positioning. Once again, not kiting = better hate control, less AoE damage, and a faster kill. Also, if you can manage to Stun Restoral I highly recommend it. It seems to regain its damage resistance if gears are restored sometimes, which can lead to agonizingly long fights when it gets out of hand.
