First of all, I'd like to thank everyone who came out Sunday night to kill this mob with me. This is the second time I've fought this with HA. Currently, I'm 0/4 on the club dropping. I want to say how much it means to me to have quality support from HA. A special thanks goes out to Tapanga; She has really been stepping up to the plate a lot lately. It's so nice to see her flexing her RDM prowess. I don't believe we would have won without her.
Thank you everyone who showed up so fast with no prior warning.

This is a White mage HNM who will use Benediction once for about 16k hp's. In future attempts, let's not rush ourselves. Linking the whole room before everyone is ready can make it difficult to recover.
I can't wait to do this again in the near future.

Mnementh; I have 5 manned this HNM in the past. It's defiantly not a superman mob. Here's the main issues we ran into. 1 Rdm was Weak @ pull. The pull was not a pull but a whole room link. Parties were not even set-up properly yet. At one time, we had both Rdm's weak and resting. It did not help that for some reason I left all my staves in the mog house. Benediction sucks. All I could do was back up Icestorm the best I could with refresh, phalanx, regen, and cures.
I solo the PH here often and the pulling is not as hard as everyone makes it out to be. Ideally clear the NQ mobs first. With or without nq mobs being present, I buff, sneak, sleepga <targetNM>, silence, then bomb wake only <TargetNM> and run towards zone. At the zone a wait for NM to get close then I sleep him then zone. I zone outside for a 3 count and zone back in with a slept Nm and the rest have despawned or walked back.
This differs slightly with the HNM since I can't sleep him. It's still easy though. Sleepga, grav haul ass to zone. Zone back in and catch the mob before he runs away. If the fight gets bad you can zone hate.
Despite the problems, I for one had a lot of fun.

It's time for me to eat some crow and learn some humility.
Friday night the HNM popped again. Linkshell and Friends list was light on peeps. It was very hard to gather up the people needed for this. It took about 2 hours to get 7 total people. It was a mix of folks from My Dyna LS, HA and a random too weak rdm.
It was a full moon and lights day and I couldn't have been more excited.
The first pull was text book perfect. Right away, we were not doing well and had to zone. We had RDM X 3, War X 2, a Sam and a Nin.
We pulled this a total of 5 times. Each time I'd have to walk around again.
First pull, was perfect, NQ mobs killed first.
Second pull, I was pulling a NQ and it all linked.
Third pull, I aggro'd before I could sleepaga.
Fourth pull, something happened that I never thought would happen, I slept the HNM with a Sleepaga pull. I didn't even know this was possible. It was darksday though.
Fifth pull, we grabbed all 3 NM's and tried to keep 2 slept.

These were some horrid attempts and I pulled the first 4 times. I have never completely failed to kill this with help before. It has forced me to rethink this entire strategy.
I'm grateful to all those who showed up to help. Raizo, Tapanga, Yanxia, and my self were the only HA in attendance, 4/7. It was a sad sad day for Aleve. :(
It's Saturday morning after a restless night sleep and surprisingly, the HNM is still up. Not many people on yet, so I'm going to try to plan this out a bit better.

Fun Times!
It took about 3 hours this morning before having enough people to kill this. We were able to do about another 7; RDM, NIN X 2, PLD, SMN, BLM, and a gimped RDM/thf. 6/7 HA members were present. Thank you all for coming out again; Raizo, Icestorm, Yanxia, Fnord & Mesh.
The pull was interesting. Smn pulled but likned the other 2 NM's. Somehow, we managed to pull the HNM away to another area as most of the room was cleared of NQ's. Once the 2 NM's walked back, we pulled the HNM back to the zone.
The Blm did not make it until the very last. This mob was basically defeated by 5 HA members and a gimp Rdm. This fight went really smooth, with the exception of Mesh dying for some odd reason. I dispelled as often as I could and kept people hasted and refreshed the best I could. Not much healing was needed. and the fight it's self did not take long, (about the time it takes Fnord to get from Pashlow Marshlands to the dome).
The drops were lame. This puts me 0/5 on the club dropping.The Tod has been moved, so I don't know if I can get this back into a regular rotation of killing the PH every 8pm PST. Who knows if I'll ever have a chance of killing it on a full moon lights day again.

I lagged and got caught w no shadows right when he decided to use his tp on me got hit w a 675 tp move and a 350 crit.... But this mob isnt to hard we bounced hate pretty nicely between the tanks while being able too dd.. I was rushing and only had 50% of my gear on me which limited my effectiveness alot but it was a great way to start the morning... Lol and the fact I was typsy from drinking all night didnt help...

And np ALeve im always down to help when im on... Thats why we lvl merit etc so we can do things like this!!!

hey isnt the HQ mob 100% drop?

You were there, and no. Unfortunately it does not. This is an extremely rare drop. This has sold 4 times in the last 2 years. The last time sold was in October. Rumor has it that it only drops the club if someone in party possesses a scroll of Raise III. It sells for about a Mil but I would buy it for more if I had it.

I just discovered that some of my information was incorrect. It sold @ AH 3 times in '08 and a whole bunch in '07 from 10 Mil > 1 Mil. I wonder what changed?

This was taken down again by HA @ 9:30am this morning PST.
It being a holiday people were scarce. We managed to have 8 total for this. With the exception of the incident of linking the room, this HNM went down fairly smoothly. This HNM, unlike the regular NM's, has a huge linking range and if he links, the whole room links. This is common to happen as the room is being cleared while waiting for everyone to gather. We just need to be prepared to just zone if we link the HNM.
Not much in drops. No club again so I will be camping this again. 0/6
