Continuing with planning Limbus zones by the month here's the current plans for March. If you'd like to request zones or drops please do so in the Item/Zone Request thread. Now that we have a working strategy for Ultima I'm planning for 1 Omega and 1 Ultima run per month.Should it happen that I do not show on time (or at all) go ahead with the scheduled run. If that isn't possible try to pick another run that is scheduled later in the month, and if that's not possible do a Tem.Cent. floor that someone has a chip for.Should we have the numbers and desire on days when we are doing Apollyon or Temenos zones we'll do a split zone. Since we are gonna be doing Apollyon CS, I thought I'd refresh my memory on why it was such a pain before, noting Ik's notes in his link. There are some excellent notes on the Wiki and a Guide from Caitsith's own Deadmeat. Since the NM groups don't link together, we will want to pull the 2 groups we don't want to farm for coins. - We want to destroy the first 2 groups asap to leave as much time for the final group as possible. - Each group of mobs has a specific resistance, so we should make sure we have a lot of firepower in the killing department on the mobs that we are going to farm. - Obviously Yagudo is a BAD mob to farm, considering the Yagudo SMN can easily wipe the alliance with Sweep and Astral Flow. It is better left for doing first it seems. - Seeing as how we have 5 chips, we could honesly afford to NOT get the chest and farm full time for max coins. It will give us breathing room to get used to the zone. If we do clear, we just regain our metal chip back. Personally I am pretty confident we can destroy this. |

The answer is coins. Metal chip zones are for hardcore ABC drops, so they say >.>
I remember the last time we tried this and it ended in epic fail. Anyone remember what went wrong the 1st time around?
I can gear up as rdm/nin for kiting purposes if its needed.

What went wrong is that we aggrod all 3 groups, and didn't know that they don't really link. You can pull 1 group of 3 at a time. The next won't aggro for 10 mins.

Great job at clearing the zone with only 2 time chests and 11 people. Stun-locking (BLUs) the MNK mobs worked very well and saved us time we'd have normally slept them. Two WHMs also greatly helped our ability to burn down the SMN mobs w/o any deaths.

There was a miscommunication on my part at the end of the run. I'll go over the details Sunday.
I do want to say that people need to stop going afk at the end of the run. Just because we our out of the zone does not mean we are done with the run.
Also, need to make certain to be on time. With all the other LSs going at our time we have to be quick to get our zones.

Nice work even with my sloppy pull to start the zone. Some of these mobs are really harsh to non-PLD tanks as they hit hard and fast.
