How Well Can a PLD/NIN Tank?

So today when I was out and about I came across Scitalis. I looked up the info and it seemed like we could kill it. I asked the LS and was able to get everyone to come help kill it.

We had the following setup:
Taliesin: PLD/NIN
Sylvanna: WAR/NIN
Grahaf: DRK/NIN
Silverwolf: SMN/WHM
Ryzin: BLU/NIN
Ikonic: BLM/WHM

We decided to have some warmups and kill a few of the VT Wyverns to get in the mood. After killing one I asked Tal to grab another:



Apparently Tal can't see so well...

Ended up since we were down a tank and not ready for it the fight didn't end well as you can see.



After raising everyone and resting up to full again we pulled one more normal mob to prep and then fought the NM again.



As you can see Tal once again tanked the NM flawlessly!

With an end result of a win, but no drop.

damage filters make this seem like tal had a brain anurisume. one second he is standing there, and then he drops dead. no damage dealt lol (on second view he must have been pulling and out of range) grats on the kill guys sorry you had to eat dirt to taste victory.

Btw the SC produced an awesome 79 dmg Darkness... ftw

Actually I edited out the DMG as it didn't make the story as good.

That hat it drops is a nice hat. If you ever need my help killing it just let me know. Sucks you didn't get drop :/
