So I know many have heard about the account hackings, and I don't know if this has been posted already. Don't know if any will read this its long and boring lol. My account was hacked. Have a great comp with AVG that prescans links before you even touch them. Unfortunately this was not available when my account was hack in 2007 I did sell my account on ebay. Was leaving the game and did this when I was incredibly drunk had a buy it now for 130.00.... beyond stupid and incredibly ignorant to every one i played with (more then felt and realized... especially friends who helped me get this far). It sold (the account) in 2hours lol.... I did buy it back (alot more then he paid... don't ask) even had the kids isp# to make sure there were no traces that he would pull crap. I was still leaving the game and figured I'd just read more then already did lol... gets boring fast when you read a book twice, not in a job that requires 50+hours a week and school. This was in April of 07'.
In August I received an e-mail from stil and a bunch of others for a happy Bday (=. Realized i missed the game and more importantly my friends. Missed going out w/ shash and him killing me and making fun of him, missed Req (raizo) faces <.< and conversations (everyones else's too). Ik snide comments (even though in RL he's probably one of the nicest ppl you will meet:P). A ton of other things and peeps too.
Getting on with it I tried to log back in.... "INVALID PASSWORD" bullshit... called POL... Sorry sir we cannot change the Pass word w/out the correct CC number. I've had this account since the game came out since 2003 left plenty of times and came back w/out a prob. This was in September... SE and POL's policy was THEN that you cannot get the password w/out all information. Decided to start over till the street monkey gods blessed me lol, POL changed their policy and the ORIGINAL owner can reclaim their account. March got the Notary form, sent back express and it took till June to get the character back. NOT STARTING OVER AGAIN. If this happens to you, you will have to transfer the character back. This and deal w/ whatever crazy shit they've done with it. lmao ie dropping manniquins, gear, R/ex items, selling gear and my favorite logging in to find out your an RMT named Eckhard with 30+ bugard skins, 2x bravo subligars and a mega horn, raped and missing half your crap lol. Long story short. Watch what you click on and make sure you have !!~~~!!!ANTI VIRUS THAT CHECKS EVERY LINK YOU TOUCH !!~~!!
The crazy thing is i didn't even know i was hacked and trojan just sitting in comp was never picked up by scan. This is comming from someone who was M.I. A.A. sgt in the Army. Still did not catch it. just saying what happened and to be careful. Rio.
