I'd like to here from people who actually play RNG on a serious note. People like Crumb, Rastan, and Valhallodin. What's your experience with the update as it pertains to RNG in an XP pt? Where's the "sweet spot" for DMG? Is your DMG more on par with the other DD of the pt? What do you see as the benefits of the update?
There was a post that listed the various ranges to be at based on the weapon (short bow, long bow, x-bow) for optimal dmg, but I can no longer find the post with all the crying posts.

As of yet, I haven't actually had any RNG experience, post-update, as due to the update there was no static last night. However, I did notice last night when I was SAM to help Lordfufu get his Gusgen key that my arrows didn't seem to be hitting as hard from close range as they used to, but I haven't yet had time to run around and actually check it out.
Also, as I understand, the 'sweet spot' may in fact be different for Archery and Marksmanship. I'll have to look into it as well.
A lot of people seem to be kind of worried about this, but quite frankly if it works the way I anticipate it will, it really shouldn't be too huge a deal. It will just take some adjusting to.
