What I did:
My first and only attempt at Maat was on Thursday (2/10/05) and I was level 70. I traded my WHM Testimony to Maat wearing no equipment and was transported. I ran up to the Burning Circle and entered it naked where I was informed this battle had a cap of 10 minutes. Once inside, I equipped my equipment. I then cast: Protect IV, Shell IV, Aquaveil, Stoneskin, Blink, and Barblizzara. I ate my Steamed Crab and rested to full while equipping my Dark Staff. After I was full, I equipped my Earth Staff and ran up to Maat. I pulled him using Slow. He began his attack and I took a Yagudo Drink and Blinding Potion. From there, I mainly cast Cure III and a couple Cure II's and Cure IV's. During the fight, I used a Super Ether and a Vile Elixer. I never went into the red and I did not use Divine Seal or Benediction. After 9 minutes, Maat said, "Hm. That was a mighty fine display of skill there, Jennn. You've come a long way..." I was then teleported out of the battle area and given an Instant Warp. I warped back to Jeuno and went to Maat and got a cutscene, "You're level cap has been raised to 75."
