I'm on ps2, mostly because i've always played FF on the consoles so I keep with the tradition there. Also my PC was middle of the line 5 years ago, & its graphics card I got secondhand for $20 from somebody who was upgrading... 4 years ago =P so needless to say my comp prolly cant handle it. one of these days i'll get a new one, its on the list of junk i need...
I'd be curious to know how it goes running on both platforms, Wills. I've heard rumor in both directions that you have to get a whole other account to play from the other, but i've also heard you can play the same account from both so i dunno.

Yeah, speak'n of the accounts and what not.. I always thought that if I did get the PC version or even another PS2 version.. (Lilbritches, Armellina, Balok, Toasty and Bugbear.. our characters, are all on the same handle.) I thought that it wasn't possible to play two characters from the same handle simultaneously.
My ideal thing would be to someday Have Lilbritches in the same PT as Balok... I dunno if it's possible, I assume it's not. If anyone knows for certain, that would be awesome. Thank you all for your comments on the PC, it sounds like a great time and I'm considering it alot now.

Hmm very intersting. I have a mule on a nother handle but same account, and I know u can switch characters to and from handles. I just want to know for sure, but if not no biggie. I will just cancel the mules I have and make new ones on another account.

it is possible, i ptied with a dude in valkurm that was the whm on comp and the sam on ps2, it was cool, i dont know how he did it though...

it's simple really. to have two active characters you have to have two copies of the game and two accounts. if on PS2 and PC then that's one copy for each. I have tried playing both a mule and my main on PC at the same time and it is not allowed; the game will log out the first character to login the second.

I see. So you need to pay for 2 accounts not create two handles then (well I guess you will need two handles any way), 2 copies - 1 for PS2 and 1 for PC. Gotcha, thanks.

PS2 rocks i have used that controller for years and find much easier than a keyboard. PC may look better but havin a huge t.v. screen is easier on my eyes
