I'm on PS2 and I always wonder what it's like to play on PC. I was also curious if more people have the PC version, which I somewhat suspect. I'm think'n of getting the PC version simply because it's cheaper... that way, lil and I can play at the same time. no point in getting a second PS2 and all the pieces that need to go with it...
So, if anyone has played both lemme know what you thought for the differences pros/cons.

I use PC. I have about 9 working computers and didn't see the point to purchasing a PS/2. As for what's better about PC? I'm used to it. Very used to it. And the graphics are much better. Ask anyone who's seen both. And there are more programs out for PC (such as Parsers).

i use PS2, because i am a Mac user, and because i'm pretty much strictly a console gamer. I find the PS2 controller a lot easier to use than the keyboards, but thats just prefrence. As far as graphics, well, i don't think PS2 is that much worse, unless you have a hella expensive video card, which is pointless unless you're a hardcore PC gamer. also, I'm garunteed to have the game always work well on the PS2, no worry of processor speed or the like. thats my 2 gil.

I also use PS2. I like the controller. I have tried to use my keyboard to play, just to get a feel, but I didn't like it at all. As for the graphics being better, well, I don't think that is really the case. I haven't seen it on a lot of PCs, but on the ones I have, it was no better than my PS2s, maybe even a little bit worse. I don't doubt that with a mega-sweet graphics card and all that other high-powered gobble-dee-gook, it would be much better. But it would cost a lot more to beef up a PC to those specs than to equip a PS2. My 2 gil.

Well, my Video card cost me $269 and it does awesomely. I keep my computer upgraded as much as reasonably possible. As for issues with computers not being good enough specs to run the game. I'm in the know enough to make it so for a reasonable price. (BTW, if anyone needs/wants a computer let me know, I build them.)
Oh, and as for display I've seen both PC and PS/2 and had friend who were die-hard PS/2 players and they agree that the PC display is much nicer. It's more clear and precise.
Note: not meant as a back and forth bashing of any sort, just putting up my thoughts and observations.

I have the PC version. I had one of the people on my UPS delivery route build my computer for me so i got some really great stuff (video card, sound, etc) for cost. I don't own the PS2. I went with an X Box instead but I did play Morrowind on both and I will take a computer version over a game system anytime.

I think I'm worried about the control factor.. I mean have'n the PS2 controller is pretty bad ass, it does everything. I dunno, maybe I'm worried the controls will be more complicated on the computer and I won't be able to get my guys to work as efficiently as I did on the PS2.. plus, I'm on a lap top w/ no number pad. My computer can handle the graffics though, that's no problem.

if you're worried about the lack of keyboard on the laptop, just buy a USB one...infact, you probably have one for your PS2 that will work.

ya, im on ps2 as well, it is nice having all of the main functions on the ps2 controller, such as heal, macros and macro sets, camera movement and movement, etc.. but i am buying a laptop soon to play in between classes and when i am on holidays. it ia a bit harder on a comp if you dont know the keys, but it will be alot faster if u use just the pc and not both. and yes any usb keyboard can go into a lap top too.
i also have heard that comp is better in graphics and in the only way that matters, screen size!! i dont know about u but doesnt it seem like on a tv and ps2 the screen seems squished when u fight? on a comp it seems alot more roomy.

I started out on the PS2 and later switched to the PC version for the simple fact that I got tired of the chat box, menus, etc covering so much of the screen. Becuase of the better resolution I can see so much of the screen with the PC version. Also the graphics are better.

btw, it's 'PS2' not 'PS/2' ah, thanks for the notice. i've never really used the things and am probably confusing the computer term with the console term.

I am currently on the PS2, but am setting up on my comp so my mules can be on at the same time and I dont have to log and change. Only reason I started on the PS2 is I wanted to see how it looked on my tv. Plus my couch is more comfortable than my computer chair.

I know some computer chairs aren't the best and generally coaches are fat buggers, so I can see how a coach would be more comfortable (fatter coach, more cushion). However, I'd suggest getting a better chair if that was the case. I'm sure even as lazy as most coaches are they probably don't want you sitting on them.
