Make sure that if the item name is abbreviated that you type it exactly as listed in your equipment menu. Example: "Ryl.Ftm. Gloves" instead of "Royal Footman's gloves".
Case doesn't matter for [area] or [item name].
The following all results in the same action.
/equip Head "Bronze Cap"
/equip head "bronze cap"
/equip hEaD "bROnZe cAP"
Do note that if you would like to remove an item instead of replacing it you can use the command "/equip [area]".
For instance to remove the Bronze Cap from the head [area] use the following command:
/equip Head
Spells and Job Abilities are case sensitive. In other words /ma cure <t> will not work while /ma Cure <t> will.
Most times when you use a /ja or /ws you need to add a /wait before using /equip again. If you do not the effect of the equipment will not be active during the /ja or /ws. When using /ma just add the /wait for the cast time. You can switch after the spell starts casting and still get the same effect.
