Following is a list of tips for running an event smoothly, whether it be Eco-Warrior, Garrison, LS Farming, Rank Mission, XP Party, Meeting, or anything.
1. Communication. People need to know what's going on. Make sure to let someone know if you need to rest, be afk, get something from your mh, anything. The more informed people are about what you are doing (within reason), the better an event will run.
One Person in Charge. Any event should have one all-in-all leader. If this person speaks everyone should listen. This cuts down on confusion if more than one person is trying to lead. Please make sure the leader is very knowledgable about the event in question.
Research. If you are doing an event that you have not done before, research it. Whether it be asking friends or LS members or checking out websites and guides, research the event. Try to know the most about the event of any of the people doing it. If you ask for help on an event and you know everything there is to know about it (or a hecka lot about it) then people will be more likely to help. If someone helping has to lead you through the event it's not really helping; at that point it becomes doing and you are just tagging along.
4. Thanks. As with all time when you are helped with something, thank the person. If someone helps you with something be sure to thank them. This person will be more likely to help you and others in the future if he/she feels like it was appreciated.
