I did the Dem mission last night and I thought I would let you guys know my take of these things. First off plan on spending atleast 2hrs on the actual mission, took us about 4 to get all the ppl and get this done. Once you are inside the crag you have to make your way to a memory recepticle and kill it to teleport to the next floor. Widescan makes it easy to find these. On your way you will most likely get aggro, everyone needs to kill the mobs quick because if you let 2 or 3 more link you'll have a tough fight ahead. When you get to the recepticle have smn and anyone with powerful range atk, icluding mages, kill it while melee characters kill any other mobs that link. The first 2 floors are farely easy, the third and fourth have almost exclusively VT and IT mobs. I would recomend a full alliance, but once you get to the end you fight a BCNM fight and only 6 ppl can go at a time and no one can fight twice, so have 2 or 3 full parties with you, no odd numbers. My experience was good against the NM we had a war/nin tank, a rng, a smn, a sam, a whm, and a drk. The other 2 parties were similar but no rng and they both failed (go figure). I would suggest a blink tank, rng and smn in each party and save 2hr for the BCNM. We had probably 15 deaths overall so be ready for that if you choose to go. I guess after winning all three main Promyvion fights you get access to Tavnazian region, other than that I don't think there are any rewards. I'd be up for Holla or Mea if any of you want to try it out, give me a tell.

Sorry forgot to add a few things. Start mission with a cutscene in delfuts tower, then the infirmary in upper jueno, the the armory in rulade gardens in jueno. Also there is a lv30 cap to this and all buffs are removed when entering the crag and again when entering the BCNM. NM record time was 4min 56sec, we did it in 7min 34sec.

I still need to do all of these. I'd probably go as my BLM.

Just a side note there are certain memories you can take to the guy in jeuno and he'll make you some kind of anima. This anima is used in the BCNM fight to make it much easier. There are 3 types don't remember the names, but they are listed in AK. One paralyzes the mob, one makes it run in a circle and the other I don't remember what it does. You want the one that paralyzes the mob, and I have read that it makes it a lot easier. If I find the link I will post it again. (Found Link)haha ffxi.allakhazam.com/db/quests.html?realm=Jeuno&fquest=497The anima created by Harith is usually used against the bosses of the Promyvion. Psychoanima causes the mob to be intimidated (~95% of the time) for 20 seconds. Terroanima causes the mob to run around for 20 sec. As of yet, no one knows for sure what the Hysteroanima does, but people have speculated that it lowers defense, or prevents the mob from using special attacks for 20 sec.

You need to complete the prereqs first. Go to Duckbutt Tower (hehe) and view the cut-scene; then go to Upper Jeuno for another cut-scene; then go to the doctors office and talk to him, one more cut-scene; then you talk to a guy in the dukes house. I don't recall the guys name but he is right at the entrance and he is looking at a painting. Here is a link from Allakhazam that shows all the Promathia missions. Scroll to the bottom. ffxi.allakhazam.com/db/quests.html?fqtype=Mission

These sound kind of like a really big pain, but also really interesting. I would definitely like to get in on some of this. I am becoming more intrigued with the stories in this game of late, rather than simply level level level.
I could come as a WAR/NIN or WAR/MNK for these. One question though. Is it worth having all the Shade equipment for these?
Let me know if you ever wanna get one done and I will try to make it.

Just a question. Can the quests be managable at lvl 30 since that is the cap, or do you recommend be higher level? I guess this question is directed at either Crumb or Timm.

If you are doing one of the three main missions you will cap out at lvl 30, so it doesn't matter if you are higher lvl than 30.
