Proposed HA Salvage Rules

These are the proposed rules for HA Salvage. Please read them and then vote if they work or don't work for you.

Set Priority:
Each member can pick 1 set to lot on (Usukane, Marduk, Morrigan, Ares, Skadi).
Members may change set once per week, but not on the day of a run.

Item Cost:
15s cost 0 points
25s cost 15 points
35s cost 25 points

Lotting Priority:
Items are distributed based on top points for that system. However, having a 25 or 35 will give the member a 25 points partial item leeway bonus (only used to determine lotting priority).

Example:
George has 40 points and Usukane 25 head
Sarah has 65 points and neither 25 or 35 head
Peter has 64 points and neither 25 or 35 head

Lotting priority will go Sarah AND George > Peter. If Sarah only had 64 points it would go George > Sarah > Peter.

Trash Items:
Trash items (anything that is unwanted by people who have that set as a priority) will go to an open bid system with no tiers. Bids will be done in /p. Highest bid wins. There is no partial item leeway bonus.

Zone Rotation:
Zones will be done by set rotation with Tuesday and Thursday runs each on a separate rotation.

Zone Goals:
Zone goals will be decided before entering the zone based on top 3 members points.

I would liek to officially declare my lot as Morrigans. I am 13/15 & need 35 head and 35 body

The only problem w priority is that those who have been doing salvage for a while will have priority over everyone else because they have multi pcs. of sets already... So new people to salvage would be waiting for them to complete which ever sets they had already been working on... I think that the top point person should just get item out right w out bonus....

I think what JG is saying is the rule that ppl with 25s have priority over someone who doesn't have, therefore ppl who have done salvage a lot in the past and have lots of 25s would have an advantage over people who are just starting salvage for first time.

We don't have to have a bonus for having a 25 or 35. Also, if we give the bonus only if you got the 25/35 with HA that would hurt those who got them outside. Probably the fairest bit would to be to completely not have a bonus and go by points alone.

Yeah thats what im saying C... Im not against people finishing there sets.. Just at a point the bonus might suck for us new to salvage...
