I've been discussing the possibility of starting a HA Salvage group again. If I do this who would be interested and when could you make it?
My ultimate goal if I do this would be to set up the event with a fair lotting system and schedule and get a few people to lead it so that eventually they can take over running it completely.
What day/times would work? I'm currently thinking 1 run a week, but it could branch into more if people want.
Possible options: Monday 6pm (has some leeway) Tuesday 6pm Thursday 7pm, 7:30pm
Tuesday the 10th @ 6pm CST as our first run
People Interested: Ayrea Jglluamesh Aprophus Laruni Rikiude Eotfofyl Zaeon Ganukay Haldier Zarris

I'm in.
Though I think we should take care to design the lotting system such that expansion into extra runs each week doesn't end up hurting people that can't make them.
I think I'd like to keep monday clear, but given that AFB runs seem to be completely dead, tuesday/thursday would work.

There are quite a few options for how we design a lotting system. Can go with a pick list where you stay on top until your item drops or points-based. I'd suggest a main and sub priority to help in picking goals for the zones.
To start can do 1 run a week and rotate zones. Multiple runs are purely up to you. Most likely I will only be able to make 1 run a week due to my schedule and the fact that I already do salvage 3x a week, but there's nothing to stop others from doing more runs.

Aprophus, Laruni, and Rikiude have also expressed interest.

Spectacular! Hows Thursday looking?
I'd prefer a point system BTW. I would volunteer to track them as well, if that's something you'd rather not have to worry about.

On second thought, I'd vastly prefer moving abyssea on thursday to a more normal time over adding salvage before it.

I'd be interested in this....Tuesday and Thursday times work for me, I'd also prefer points system but i don't mind main and sub lots either.

The way TheGarrison does it is each run is worth 1 point. 15s cost nothing, 25s cost 15, and 35s cost 25. We also have a main and sub priorities. They are set up such that out of 3 runs for the week 2 are based on top 2 members' based on point standing and 1 is rotated by zone. Goals are then set based on who has top points whenever 1 goal would exclude another, but in zones were all goals can be met we do so (no matter how many points the people who are up for the lesser drops have).
Due to the way some zones are designed you can't do every NM based on time or pop conditions. Having a main and sub priority makes it easy enough to decide goals. If we go purely on points how would goals be chosen?

That seems to be a good way to do it.
Main and sub lots with a point system. We can just rotate at first since were all at zero. Then, when stuff starts dropping and points start moving around we can start picking zones.

tuesdays before dynamis would be best for me. i have limbus on monday with my shell, but if it's before or after that, that would work too.
would anyone be interested in doing some assault regularly for assault points (and captain rank for those who don't have it)?

I'm in; although I'm currently stuck on ToAU mission 14 Black Coffin NM fight. Hopefully I can get this knocked out soon and gain access. If anyone's up for a nm fight before Einhenjar anytime soon, please let me know as this NM is on the way.
As far as timing, I'm fine with any of the suggestions but could not start on a weeknight earlier than 7:00 pm EST.

I would be interested. I really enjoyed it when it ran before. The only issue is my ever present lack and lessening of free time lately. So if it falls in a time frame i can do i'll try and join, if not best of luck with it.

Do you want a points-based system where each person has 1 lot per zone or 1 25 and 1 35 or 1 finished piece (15/25/35 priority) or a main and sub priority?
If you're wanting to go for a pure points system you may want to have each person have 1-2 priority drops PER ZONE so that goals could be set based on priority.
Let's shoot for Tuesday the 10th @ 6pm CST as our first run. Try to be in Whitegate 15 minutes before so we can get setup and be ready to enter by 6pm.
I'm also thinking of having a 2nd run on Thursday, but uncertain as to when since there's thoughts of moving Abyssea earlier. It's possible that my assault group can change days/times to allow Salvage at 6pm CST with Abyssea at 8pm, but I will need to check with them first.
