If you are looking for some more suggestions, the way I used to do it with my old Salvage static there would be a List of 5 Items that they make. ^^
It included pieces from all sets and the person gets to set the priority of the item. So if someone had Marduk Tiara first and another second, the person who has it first would be the one getting the items for it. The person was not allowed to change their list until they finished all the items on the list though.

Personally I'm not in favor of a pick list like that, but I'm willing to set it up any way that's fair and agreed upon by the members. I'd like to have it easy to maintain and understand also.

I've also heard of people going with a system where you pick 1 set of armor and can lot based on attendance tiers.

I think we should avoid an attendance-based system in favor of points. A point-based system would allow people that can't make every run to keep attending, and get gear at their own pace.

Another option is a zero-sum system where each 25 costs 15+ and 35 costs 25+ up to a winning bid that can't exceed the points of the bidder. Whatever the winning bid takes that many points from the bidder and splits it evenly with everyone else in attendance. One downfall of this system is that there's no bonus for people attending (no attendance point).
Personally I think TheGarrison's system works really well and is probably one of the fairest ways to set this up.
Each 25 costs 15 points, 35s cost 25 points. Each member gains 1 point per run. Members would choose a main and sub lot (completed piece such that they get priority on both 25 and 35 for that piece based on points).
No matter what people want we can come up with a fair system. I just need more input on how exactly you want it set up.
