HANMLS Official Rules
HANMLS Basics:
Membership
- Membership is open to everyone in HouseAtreus first and all else second.
- Members must be in good standing with HA. If a candidate was kicked from HA they are not eligible to HANMLS. On the same note, if a member is kicked from HA they are also kicked from HANMLS.
- Sky and Sea access are preferred, but not required.
- lvl 75 is preferred, but we will accept lvl 60+.
Attendance Policy
- Members must attend at least one event per 3 months. If a member hasn't attended an event in 3 months said member will be dismissed from HANMLS and all points will be forfeit. Member can rejoin HANMLS, but will have to start from scratch.
- If a member needs to take a leave of absence he/she may do so without any fear of losing current points. Leave may be no longer than 6 months.
Penalties
Violation of HANMLS or HA Rules will result in one or move of the following:
- Warning.
- Dockage of points for the event or total.
- Exclusion to certain events.
- Removal from HANMLS with all points void and unable to be cashed out.
About HANMLS
- HANMLS is a HNM offshoot of HouseAtreus. As such we follow the HA LS Rules, but also have some specific to HANMLS.
- HANMLS works closely with HA and EbonAskavi. We have also worked with other LSs in the past and are open to doing so again in the future. (Should your LS want to work with us on an event please contact Ikonic via PM or /tell.)
- HANMLS is not a HNMLS as such, but more of a social LS doing HNM fights.
- Events are scheduled Saturdays and Sundays for the most part starting at 5pm CST as this seems to work for most of our members. Events can be scheduled at other times if requested.
- Events can be ran by any member of HANMLS, but to earn points must be sanctioned by the LS and have a HA sackholder or HANMLS leader-appointed member present to keep track of attendance and lotting rights.
- Attendance is only required such that members attend one event every three months, but the more we have in attendance the more events we can schedule.
- All rules are not set in stone and the final say goes to the leader. Currently Ikonic is the HANMLS leader and HA Sackholders and select members are his council.
HANMLS General Lotting:
Lotting
- Lotting is based on points and attendance. Rarely is there a limit based on job (as long as lotter can currently equip drop).
- First lot goes to person with highest points if he/she can currently equip drop.
- At times points will be excluded from lotting priority based on attendance or pop item.
- Members who are not very active or only show up to events that have drops they desire may be passed over and drops will go to more active members. This is at leaders' discretion.
- 15 point lotting tiers (15, 30, 45, 60, …)
Farming Priority
- If trading a farmed item trader gets no points for farming item, but is guaranteed the drop (only the ~100% drop) no matter his/her point status. Secondary drops (stuff that isn't ~100% drop) will be lotted based on job and point priority.
- If farming an item that is used to get non-farmers a drop those farming said item get points for farming.
- If multiple people farm an item and one of the group uses his/her farming right to lot he/she loses whatever points were gained from farming said item.
- All drops obtained from farming priority still cost full points.
- Farmer gets bumped up a tier for lotting priority on 20% drops, but still has to go by lotting priority and points.
- If farmer is still under top tier person even with the 15 point farming leeway they don't get to lot 20% item.
Popped Items
- Trader is limited to 1 drop per run (to be used or sold as trader sees fit). Trader can do multiple trades if drop isn't 100%.
- Any additional pops can be sold or donated to the LS.
- All drops will cost Market Point Value with the exception of Kirin's Osode.
- While these are the basic rules for lotting there will be times when people with low or negative points get pieces over those who have points or are new to the HANMLS. The reasoning behind this is to reward those who show up to help others instead of only showing to get items for themself.
Gil Specifics:
Exchanging Points for Gil
- As of 4/30/08 it is possible for members to exchange points for gil.
- Points may be exchanged for gil at a rate of 1 point = 10K gil.
- Members may cash out a minimum of 50K per time and a maximum of 250K per month.
- Members can cash out a maximum of 1/2 the member's total points
(eg.. user has 40 points, user can cash out 20 of them (200K)).
- Member must be relatively active to cash out any points. Final approval is leader's discretion.
- LS Treasury is not to dip below 1M.
Market Point Value (MPV)
The current market value of an item divided by 20K. Values are rounded down to nearest .5.
Minimum cost for an item is .5 points.
MPV Exchange Rate (MPVER)
20K=1 point
Cursed Item Reimbursement:
At the time the member wishes to be reimbursed he/she must meet these requirements:
- Roughly 50% attendance to events per month.
- 3 months of good standing with LS.
- Treasury has the gil to reimburse w/o falling below 1M buffer.
- Final approval is leader's discretion. Leader can override any of the requirements with just cause.
Payment will be as follows:
LS pays 500K max.
Item under 100K - Payed in full.
Over 100K - NQ: LS pays 100K+25% of remainder; HQ: LS pays 100K+10% of the remainder.
If item is crafted, LS will pay 100K+25% of remainder of the cost of materials or 100K+25% of remainder of the current market value of the NQ, whichever is less.
Should synth fail member is still eligible for a one-time reimbursement for the item.
Members can cash out points to reimburse for rest of the cost of cursed item if they have at least 2x the points that they wish to cash out. Reimbursement points will be cashed out at an exchange rate of 10K=1 point.
Beastmen Raids
Items worth gil will be sold and the gil will be split amongst those in attendance.
Members may buy items with points or gil.
Members who purchase items with points will receive gil only if their split of gil is more than the cost of items they purchased.
Total cost of items purchased with points will cost MPV-split value/MPVER points. Points are always rounded down to the nearest .5.
-- Example: Mirror Tiara (400K), 10 members in attendance = 400K/20K - (400K/10)/20K = 18 points.
Gill will be taken from the treasury to reimburse those in attendance should a member buy an item with points.
Special Event Rules:
ZNMs
Sellable items may be purchased for Market Point Value.
Pop Donation:
Pops can be donated for points.
Tier 1 = .5 points
Tier 2 = 1 point
Tier 3 = 3 points
Tier 4 = 0 points & gil split (see note below)
Tier 5 = ? points
If a trader wants to donate a pop they must announce it before the trade.
Once a pop is called donated the trader is not eligible for drops, except for the key item.
Should trader decide they want to lot on a drop they can only lot after everyone else has had a chance, they will not receive points for the 'donation', and they will not receive a discount on any drops from that pop.
Key item can go to donater if he/she wants it.
ZNM Lotting Tiers
1. Trader gets choice to lot one item
1.b. Trader can lot key item also for no charge
2. Open items go first to those who have previously brought a pop item for that specific NM/item
2.a. Priority goes first by # of failed trades, next by HANMLS points
3. Open items then go to rest of members based on HANMLS points
Pop item trader gets a discount on the cost of one drop.
Tier 1&2 = no discount.
Tier 3 = 5 points discount.
Tier 4 = 15 points discount (see note below).
Tier 5 = ? points discount.
ZNM (Tier 4):
Trader can choose one of these options before the trade:
- 50% gil split (17) and no lotting rights
- 25% gil split (9) and normal lotting rights
- Equal gil split (1) and discount lotting rights
All gil items will be sold and split using KS99 rules.
Gear point cost:
Tier 1&2 items cost no points.
Tier 3 gear costs 15 points, weapons cost 5 points. Sellable items are based on MPV.
Tier 4 head gear costs 30 points and body gear costs 75 points. Gil items will be sold and split.
KS99s
Gil items will all be sold and distributed to those in attendance. For each run members get 1 part and orb trader gets 17 parts (only for his/her orb)--this works out so the orb trader gets roughly 1/2 the gil from his/her orb. Gil is totaled up at the end and distributed.
Black Belt items (Adamantoise Egg, Behemoth Tongue, Wyrm Beard) are property of HANMLS (not the orb trader) and will be lotted based on lvl of MNK, member's points, length of time member has been a MNK, usefulness of said member to the LS as a MNK, and leaders' discretion.
