Are there any plans to restart HA Dynamis? The way I see it, there are two major roadblocks at the moment.
A. Complete unknown. SE did a number on this in the fact that just about everything changed. Spawn locations, ways NMs are handled, the works.
B. The split between the normal Dynamis and Dreamlands. Normal Dynamis is under the new system, but Dreamlands is still under the old. Choosing which to do is a problem.
Still, there is some nice gear coming out of the new system, and I still want some of the old gear from Dreamlands. And since I now have time... are we going to restart?

Personally, I'd rather just use the dyna time slot for more salvage or voidwatch or ksnm/kings or something. That's just my opinion though, if dyna restarts I'd probably attend anyway.

Can make more gil elsewhere, and relic gear can be solo'd by almost anyone. Waste of time to keep running it. If people still need wins, or want to try for some DL drops, they can arrange a time for it and I'll join.

Some can't be soloed. Case in point: www.ffxiah.com/item/11776/mujin-obiI'd like to get that, but there is probably no way I can not only get the pop, but solo the NM. And you are forgetting the Dreamlands. |

Let me adjust what I'm saying. If you guys have no interest in ever doing any Dynamis again, I understand. I just think it's worth taking another look at simply because of the new system and the new gear.

And you are forgetting the Dreamlands. It all makes sense now.... it drops something Tar wants and he wants us to do dynamis again so he can get it. I'm not forgetting Dreamlands, I'm ignoring them. Most +1s and accessories are outdated crap, and unless by some random stroke of luck we get 4 100s dropping from the boss (very unlikely, but possible), hardly seems worth it. Go find a shout group to get you your obi. Also, your drop is rare, not ex. Can also just buy it on the AH whenever someone gets around to selling it. |

Wow... way to be a jackass. I was only asking if a restart was possible. Painting me as some greedy fuck who only wants things for himself is horribly inappropriate and offensive to me. I have put years into this shell helping on things that would give me no return what so ever. I'm always trying to help various people do things.
If you want to accuse me of something, do it now. Otherwise I don't want to hear this bullshit.

Don't flip out because I stated my opinion of you and told you why dynamis isn't worth it as a linkshell. Sorry if it was unprofessional, I should've kept that out of the forums. I have no interest in getting into this with you on the forums. /tell me if you have a problem with what I said and I'll be glad to continue this, there.

Sorry for the late reply, but I kept forgetting to get around to it.
Personally I don't have any desire to start running dynamis again. Most of my current time is spent working on my 2nd character and other HA events.
While I still have a few pieces of dynamis gear that I'd like (thf feet, rdm body, thf hands-1, mnk body-1, some shadow gear) I just don't have the desire to run it as an event at this stage. Most of the relic can still be gotten solo or in low-man groups if people really want. I've not looked into the NMs at all since as a whole dynamis bores the hell out of me.
In summary, I don't see HA officially restarting dynamis any time soon.

The way things are for me right now I won't have time to make a regular Dynamis run. That said, I would not mind (and would very much appreciate) if some people wanted to try for zone wins on some off night. I still need Beaucidine myself before I can try farming Xarc for TH gloves.

I honestly don't know how many people it would take for a win with the new system or what setup would be required. I don't know if it would be possible to get a PUG and do so or not. I know Crunch does dynamis off and on for currency. You might check with him as I'm sure he has more knowledge of the new system than me.

u can beat cities with 3 ppl, beau we did with 8ish but got dicey when it chainspelled death, my ukko>ukko did 80% on the boss. Haven't killed any new nms, tried 1 in jueno wasn't too tough but got links and wiped, tried one smn/??? in windy and wiped to astral flow. the new nms are fairly strong, get very strong under 25%, new bosses are supposed to be extremely tough and need alexander to make easy.
