The Basics
Skilling up is easy, you fail every synth so you only need 1 set of materials for whatever you're skilling up on. All you need to do to skill up is spam feed earth fewells. Ignore anything that happens and just keep repeating earth fewell feed. Keep yourself hasted, earth overload will slow you without haste. Buy earth fewells off the AH or make them yourself (36 alchemy). Earth fewells are worth 50 fewell each, so you save a lot of gil this way, vs. replenishing your fewell stock from the synergy engineer.
The Recipes
These are the recipes I used, to get to 70
0-20: Federation Earring
Federation Waystone x1
Silver Earring x1
20-40: Empire Earring
Empire Waystone x1
Silver Earring x1
40-55: Lucky Carrot Broth (Novice cooking needed)
San d'Orian Carrot x3
Snoll Arm x1
Alternative for those without cooking:
40-60: Gold Nugget
Gold Leaf x4
Vitriol x2
55/60-70: Platinum Nugget
Platinum Leaf x4
Vitriol x2
Getting to 80 will require a veteran craft (for stall) or one of the recipes with Voidwatch materials, at least until cap is increased.
