Hey gang, I know we have a few people out there that have PS3s, and I wanted to take this chance to recommend that you pick up a copy of Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. I bought it over the weekend, pretty much based solely on Raizo's recommendation in a previous post and some nice things I read on the web, and so far I have not been disappointed in the least. So far, I think I would say it is the best game I have played yet on the PS3, though I also really enjoyed Assassin's Creed.
Most people describe it as Tomb Raider meets Gears of War (though I have never played Gears), and I've really liked the mix. The platforming is rewarding but still simple to control, and the firefights have turned out to be more frequent and longer than expected but also a solid experience. The character movements and voice acting are also great.
The only slight I have seen people mention is that the game is rather short (most people estimate between 8-10 hours of gameplay), so for some people it might be more a rental title than a purchase title, but they do have a rewards system that I think is similar to the Achievements on 360 games that unlock bonus features and stuff. Not to mention, the game is really fun and might be worth a second play through even without bonuses.
So, long story short, if you have a PS3, you should make sure you get a chance to play this game!

Word! I love this game. I put it down for a little to finish Bioshock on the 360 (supposedly being ported to PS3 now so check it out when it hits) but i'm working on beating on Crushing difficulty which is like 2 shots kill you. I haven't been bored yet going through 3 times and snagging the challenges is cool.
