Pretty certain that I'll be quitting when my billing runs out in August. For the past month I've only logged on to dbox gil, do fishing GP, and fish.
I really just don't have any desire to play ffxi anymore since it's the same shit all the time and there's no events. Logging on to a LS that's empty w/o conversations or events just doesn't entice me anymore.

Yeah I don't blame you. I'm trying to find a reason to stay while my Xbox is in the shop. Thanks for running dynamis for as long as you did. That was one reason I kept playing. Good luck with everything if we never see you again!

Everything I've accumulated will stay on my characters. I'm not giving anything away. If I quit for good it'll all just be gone, if I come back later I won't be missing anything I've worked for.

Oh nice, I'll check out that post ... you haven't led me wrong yet on stuff you've recommended yet.
I started watching Hemlock Grove on Netflix (it's an original series), it's been pretty good, almost thru the series, and just started watching Vampire Diaries (maybe 1/2 way thru first season), and have been enjoying that. I don't think I watched it when it first came on thinking it was going to be a teenager angst type show, but it's been more that that, so I was pleasantly surprised.
Was thinking of trying Breaking Bad as well, haven't watched any of that series yet.
Tried to cancel my accounts tonight but of course service is down, I tried a few days ago and service was down then as well, probably all f'd up due to FFXIV.

I'm also watching Haven, Dragon's Den UK, The Bridge, and Misfits.
I also don't plan to ever sell my account. I'll probably just let it fall to dust. Can't say I've missed the game any at all yet. Missed some of the people and thought about a few add-on changes or additions I'd like to do, but have no desire since I no longer play.
As for what I've been up to since quitting... Played a decent bit of StarCraft 2 and SimCity 2013. Installed Age of Empires III, but haven't played it past campaign. Been watching tv shows and movies and sleeping, but that's about it.
