Leaving the Game for a while

I don't think that they forgot how they got there. I believe most of us remember very well. Thats why everyone likes to see ppl put forth effort. Not just whine about not having help. Nothing was ever handed to anyone, everyone had to put forth alot of time and effort to be "Very high in the game". Just because you need help doesn't mean that everyone is willing to drop what they're doing. Im not saying that help from the LS won't come. Alot of times it just doesn't come right away. Thats what shouts in Whitegate are for..... Other ppl on this server need the same stuff you do. If they're not shouting, then you can. The ppl that are "Very high in the game", make it happen, they just don't sit around waiting. Far to many ppl want NOW, what took others YEARS to achieve.

Yeah Mikeyt had posted that he was taking a little break he must had deleted it... I just wanna say that mike you seem like a cool guy and I know that the game may get a little frustrating but its still a fun game.... I wanna add on to what hung said not just for mike but for all the up and commers that just started playing the game....
1. This game takes years to really get and to do everything......YEARS!!! SE has made it alot easier for people to lvl and now u can get to 75 in relative short time because of toau... The players that are 75 pre toau it took some of us more than a year or 2 just to reach 75...

2. Before The expansion you could not lvl past 70 because one of the only camps to xp post 70 was sky.. So we had to start zm mission post 65... If you look at old post it was not easy to get sky at 65 it took me personally 3months to finish zm's and I had a ls zm static that we organized on the forum. Stilgar, sic, leesc, and myself static thru the zms and had to plan helpers thru the missions..Now zms are easy cause most people do them after they are lvl 75 or close to it.

3. Dont get me started on cop!!! took me like 3 years 3 cop ls 4 cop statics to finish cop. My 4th static happened to be the shit so was finally able to finish...

4. Now that alot of us have been playing for a while, we only play on a short time basis. We get in and out mostly when we get on we have specefic things that we wanna get done for our few hours of play time. So when the random ask for help comes up we really cant do it... I know when I played more I was able to help all the time now I have to pick and choose how I help.

5. I really believe the best way to get stuff done is to partner w people of the same lvl or needs ..... Until TOAU came out this ls didnt really have to many high lvl players.

Long story wrapped up if you think it had been easy ask some of us to tell u the timers on our play time lol.... it took alot of game time to get stuff done!!!!

Ive been playing 2 years now and still havent gotten anything higher then 65. When I had my own LS I ran I did alot of helping out. But thats sorta the person I am. What goes around, comes around is my motto. Giveing out free Teles at randome has made me many friends( high lvls and many of them DD or tanks: hence the need for a tele!) And many people in this LS I have found to be the same. When I started many people helped me out in many ways so I feel its my duty to pass it along. But not everyone has this same outlook on the game and so you have those who make it seem there are very needy people. And lets face it, there are lots of kids and imature people out there only looking out for #1! Either help out or dont.. but if you do I thank you. And if you do, just think that maybe your helping someone else to be nicer and more helpful for those who follow. Now GO OUT THERE AND KICK SOME ASS!

I know sometimes this game makes you feel like you want to leave, but trust me, I've been that route, and it leaves you wanting to come back. I personally deleted my character over a year ago, with 2 lvl 75 jobs, and had ZM and CoP complete and fully caught up on tau which was mission 24 at the time. After about a year, I got my life straightened out and bought me a house and settled down. I wanted to come back but guess what? I had no character. I was lucky enough to have my best friend let me share his character with him. Volum had no sky or sea, and his highest job was level 62. But with the time I had I managed to get sky and sea, and lvl a job to 75 and start decking it out all in 3 these past three months, and with Volum's original owner playing as well, we have managed to progress significantly.

The key to this was innitiative. We used our time effectively, shouted for things, organized runs and didnt just sit in town. While the LS cant just drop what they are doing, if you plan for a time to do something most are more than willing to help, and let me tell you. HA is by far the most friendly and productive shell I have been in in the four years that I've played. I have actually dropped HNM pearls because I love HA so much. So if you feel like coming back, and scheduling things and organizing events We would be more than happy to help.

Sorry for the long rant. And by the way, Volum and I never would have accomplished what we have, without the help of HouseAtreides.
