Samurai AF3: A Thief In Norg!?

Hey guys, thanks to the party Pimpking put together last night, I finally hit level 60 Samurai. This means I can finally finish out my Artifact set, assuming I can get some help to finish the AF3 quest: A Thief In Norg!?. I have done everything except the final battle in the Burning Circle at Waughroon Shrine with the three named demons, Gaki, Onki, and Raki.

My final piece of AF is the [Yellow]*******Myochin Kabuto ******[/Yellow]

And the Quest is [Yellow]*******A Thief In Norg!?******[/Yellow]

A lot of people have posted there on the fight and possible strategies. Basically, I have heard it is not as hard many people think it is, assuming you go with proper help. I haven't yet had time to read over all the strategies yet, but I will do so and summarize them as soon as I get a chance.

Please let me know if you think you might be interested in helping me, and once I have an idea of what help I will have, I can try to set up a time to get this done, assuming popping on the shell and asking Crumb and Zues doesn't work

As a competent SAM, you deserves your full AF set!

I haven't read thru the strategy well, not sure whether my bard would waste any spot of this BCNM fight. Just count me in your list. I'll stand by and well ready to eat death ;D

Demon is weak against Light and Bard's sleeping song is exactly light-based. (Choosing a lightday to enter BCNM may help.) AK didn't list out the level of the demons and I just marginally dinged 61 (instrument skill has not yet capped ;_;). So, I am not sure even my Bard's 2hr {Soul Voice} + {Lullaby} can perform well in crowd control.

I haven't yet read all the strategies yet, but I do believe that none of the demons can be slept. However, one of them is a SMN, and the SMNs summon CAN be slept, and as each of the demons does use their 2-hour ability, if the summon could be slept and prevent from 2-houring, it may be a big help. I will hopefully have some free time this week (but I'm not counting on it, engineering expo Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, and I always have a ton of homework, so we'll see) to get a strategy figured out.

Friendly reminder: You know, Lok and I are living in the opposite side of the world (EST + 12 hours) So, our Sat and Sun is preferred. ^_^

I've been dieing to kill something of a challenge for a long time, if its on friday,saturday,or sunday /tell me and i'll happily come and help lay waste to your enemys ^^

Gaki is the BLM, and should be killed first as he likes to use AM and other pretty heavy-hitting spells.

Onki is the SMN, and he should be killed first. It is very important to keep his elemental slept so that he cannot use his 2-hour ability, as well as other problematic spells from the summon.

Rasetsu is the DRK, and should be killed last. He will use Blood Weapon, so it may be helpful to have a PLD there to use Invincible to nullify it. Outside of Blood Weapon, he should be pretty easy to defeat.

Ideally you could take in enough high level people that there could be someone to engage each mob, essentially holding them at bay while others focused on killing them one at a time.

My apologies to those who offered to help and did not get the chance to, but I finished up this quest today. I found enough people to help, and I was so excited to get this done I decided not to turn it down.

side note: Before maintenace, Lok and I duo my bard AF2 NM fight (3 skeletions). BLM(Firga3)+BRD(Lullaby)=PWN. Lullaby > Firga3 > Lullaby > Firga3 > Lullaby > Firga3...... keep looping till it died! Exciting and interesting!
