Well for those of you don't know the notorious Kraken Club no longer drops from the Lord of Onzozo. They moved it and it now drops from this BCNM. I highly want one to keep, not sell. But if anyone wants to try this for their own it might be fun. Only one mob (sea monk) and you can bring 6 ppl. Here's a link: wiki.ffxiclopedia.org/Up_in_Arms

Only one mob (sea monk) and you can bring 6 ppl. Its actually a 3 man BCNM so there is definatly some strategy and job placement required to win this as I hear the kraken mob basically hundred fists the entire fight. I want one to keep also, but now that its a BCNM drop the price is going to drop a lot, so its not going to be the uber leet $$ gear that it has been. Ally

Here's what I found for a tactic. "I did this with two other BST today, and won all three runs. It was pretty straightforward, using two jugs and two pet food zeta per run--but all the AOE hits pretty hard, and after the first run one of us stayed out of range and played healer while her pet fought. When one of the meleeing BST got low on HP, we would run out of hate range to get healed. One of us used Carrie, one Funguar, one Homunculus. Overall, Funguar did 26% of damage, Carrie 23%, Homunculus 19%. We thought Carrie might have an advantage in this fight because of crabs' water resistance, but Funguar resisted Maelstrom much more than Carrie did; it always took half damage or less, whereas Carrie usually took full damage. The mob weakness chart explains this; it says that Funguars take half damage from Water attacks. So FunguarFamiliar definitely seems like the best choice for this fight, though I'd be interested to see how Siravarde, Orob and Como do in terms of damage. Eating Sushi gave me 93% accuracy; the other meleeing BST, who I think didn't use food, had 80% accuracy. The pets all had 63% accuracy. Fe'e's melee damage rose gradually over time, from ~80/hit to ~120 to ~250 up to a high of 523 for a single non-critical hit. Then its melee damage dropped back to ~50...but later it went up to ~200 again. I don't know what the pattern is, but it might have something to do with the periodic messages saying "Once of the sea creature's tentacles have been wounded." Fe'e uses the normal Sea Monk specials: Ink Jet, Maelstrom, Whirlwind, Cross Attack, Tentacle, Hard Membrane, Regeneration. Each run dropped 9 items, which followed the following pattern: Always 3 Oxblood, 2 Pearl, 1 Black Pearl 1 Teleport ring (Dem or Altep) 1 Neck armor (Ajari or Philomath) 1 Rock (Sunstone, Red Rock, Translucent Rock) I would guess that the Walkure Mask would take the Neck armor spot when it drops. Being a taru, I know I can't take a fully amped Maelstrom blast - so I'll be part of Team Medic in the back. My Pet will crunchersize Fe's face. This is a 3 man party, - a trio of bsts. I know most of your aren't bst, but I am very interested in joining Sic and Ally in their conquest for K. Clubs. I want one too! I got some sh't to thump! Think of me when you're looking for DD's. I got enough seals for two runs at the moment, soon I'll have 180. -Dr. Toastasauras Rex
