cloth craft ^^;

seeing no one post here, i'll have a go.

to prevent myself from typing the same this again and again, i'll put this down.

1) the prices dates back to 4 - 6 months ago, this research was done when i'm interested in crafting, so, if u really want to profit from this, check the prices before crafting.

2) i live in Windy, thus i can get advanced synth support, this is very important as it helps to increase abt 4 lvls of ur crafting skills.

3) never craft during new mood, althought is said to have high lvl gain, but not worth it. light day or the day of the crystal is the best ( i think)

i start and live in Windy, the cloth craft guild is here, that's why i gave it a try. i kill Yagudos at low lvl, this i can get bead necklace and wind crystals.

wind + bead necklace= 3 grass threads

this cap at lvl 1 (if u ever gets any lvl ups from it, that is)

earth + 3 grass threads = 1 grass cloth

this cap at lvl 4. one stack of cloth sells abt 4k

lightning + goblin armor = 2 cotton thread

a goblin armor cost abt 500-700, stack of cotton thread abt 10k( again, 4month ago price), successful desynth will get u a turn over, but lvling takes for ever . so, i sell threads to earn gil at some points.

note: i bought ancient blood paintingsss from AH to help in desynth. ( matter of fact, i also have a waste basket, acolyte's grief painting in my MH)

earth + 3 cotton threads = 1 cotton cloth

this will cap at lvl 12, but don't start this at
low lvl, u will be broke in no time .

ligthning + 2 flax flower = 1 linen thread

this cap at lvl 20. guild prices vary from day to day and time to time, i can get flax flower for 230gil for one and 500gil sometimes for one, buy in when cheap

earth + 3 linen threads = 1 linen cloth

this cap at 22. that's all for now. hope u profit from the cheap goblin armor and flax flowers ;D .i haven't touched crafting for very long now, when is holiday coming.......

but i will have to say from my own experience.. man crafting sucks to get hooked on lol
and armor is a joke to make cuz the material is outstanding prices yest the armor goes for hella less.. needless to say, you're paying mass quantities to only get at least half (maybe less) back.
crafting is the devil's work... the devil i say.. the DEVIL! lol

yepo, most crafts ( if not all of them) don't allow u to make a profit at low lvls. the gil only comes rolling in at high lvls. the lowest i think is cooking ( lvl 36)

and most profits come in the form of HQ synths

like shihei, i heard u willl make a loss if u can only synth them, unless u are high enough to HQ synth them....

Actually you can make a profit from woodworking at lvl 0. There are quite a few crafts that you can make minor profit or break even while doing. You just have to do some research to find out what to make.
