During our last ZM5 run, Zue just killed some Gobbues while waiting and tree cuttings dropped. Since all of us were busy on finding the way to meet him, I forgot to pass the item and got it... I tried to send him back after a day but he just returned me. XD So, I did the simple research of gardening and going to plant it.
Some findings... Pot Used + Seeds Used + Crystal Fed + Crystal Fed > Harvest
Porcelain + Fruit Seeds + Light Crystal + Light Crystal > 3 Gold Ore Porcelain + Fruit Seeds + Light Crystal + Light Crystal > 3 Mythril Ore Porcelain + Fruit Seeds + Light Crystal + Light Crystal > 1 Silver Ore Porcelain + Tree Saplings + Dark Crystal + Dark Crystal > 1 Dark Ore Porcelain + Tree Saplings + Fire Crystal + Fire Crystal > 1 Fire Ore Porcelain + Tree Saplings + Ice Crystal + Ice Crystal > 1 Ice Ore Porcelain + Cactus Stems + Earth Crystal + Earth Crystal > Adaman Ore Porcelain + Cactus Stems + Ice Crystal + Ice Crystal > 2 Gold Ore
Have to say it is risky. Maybe a rock salt or warms would be finally planted... However, I heard that someone has saved hundreds million on his main character funded by many many mules solely for gardening.

I'm a fan of gardening. It carried me through my first job without having to farm basically. Mostly I work with saplings only, but I've also done cuttings and some dabbling in fruit seeds as well. Now...as for the massive mules for gardening...I think they are a bad thing overall because they aren't really in the spirit of the activity...but whatever is possible will proabably be done so.../shrug.
I like my smaller garden actually because it's easier to manage and enjoy than a factory setting of multiple mules.

Hey Iva had a try and growing Fire Ore's on a number of occasions and its not easy at all >< But my friend was very sucessful at it. He was growing them in an Ancient Blood pot, v pricey, but it seemd to make a big difference. Would recommend feeding and harvesting on perfect days too. Dark and/or Fires day I think, cant remember now. Saplings take about 2 weeks real time to grow. Good idea to have one mule growing Cuttings -> Saplings, and another Saplings -> ? You get real rubbish if you dont get the Ores I remember Good luck tho Leesc. post up how it went

I can say if you check it regularly, feed the correct crystal, and correct pot, you can make some decent money. I have successfully grown gold leaves, platinum leaves, crystal clusters, and several Dark Ores. One site to check, don't know if it is still up, is pikko pots. Ikonic pointed me to this site, and it is pretty descriptive. Good luck with it.

When I go home this weekend, can I do a "Guest Login" from my home PC and feed my plants? Or do I have to haul my whole rig home to keep them from dying?
