Well guys, as I have started down the road to WHMdom in the Son of Bob, it means I have also started down the road to BLMdom as well. And again, I am not sure the way to go.
So, much like for WHM, I was wondering if you guys could give me any basic macros and tips that you think I would find of use. The same thread on the WHM section really helped me out, so something along those lines would be stellar. Thanks!

Stone, Stonega Water, Waterga Aero, Aeroga Fire, Firega Blizzard, Blizzardga Thunder, Thunderga Bio Poison Cure I, II, ... Frost, Drown, Shock, Rasp, Choke, Burn Drain Aspir Bind Sleep, Sleepga, ... INT gear Resting gear + rest
For instance:
My resting macro is as such: /heal on /equip Main "Pilgrim's Wand" /equip Legs "Baron's Slops" /equip Neck "Holy Phial" /equip Hands "Devotee's Mitts"
Then my INT macro is: /equip Main "Solid Wand" /equip Legs "Seer's Slacks +1" /equip Hands "Seer's Mitts +1" /equip Neck "Black Neckerchief"
When you get your Tier 2 spells you can put them on the same macros as your Tier 1 spells if you want to be able to cast them if you don't have the mana for a Tier 2.
Example: /ma "Stone II" <t> /wait 1 /ma Stone <t>
You can only have certain enfeebles active at a time.
1.)Shock-Burn-Choke 2.)Frost-Rasp-Drown 3.)Drown-Choke 4.)Drown-Frost 5.)Drown-Rasp 6.)Frost-Shock 7.)Frost-Rasp 8.)Burn-Choke 9.)Burn-Shock 10.)Burn-Rasp 11.)Choke-Shock
Shock = Lightning DMG, -MND Rasp = Earth DMG, -DEX Choke = Wind DMG, -VIT Frost = Ice DMG, -AGI Burn = Fire DMG, -INT Drown = Water DMG, -STR
burn = increases nukes' power -- not very useful overall, mainly use right before a SC shock = helps enfeebles stick frost, rasp, drown = quick mobs drown, choke = high-def mobs frost = very useful to melee drown = always use with Bio as Bio weakens mob's attacks and Drown weakens mob's STR

Thanks IK, I can use this for my BLM and RDM. I knew some about the elemental debuffs, but now I know them for sure.

My BLM Merit: 5/5 Lightning Potency 5/5 Ice Potency
3/3 Burst II 1/1 Freeze II 1/1 Tornado II 1/1 Flood II
Edit: 8/8 Elemental magic skill 8/8 Enfeebling magic skill (I merited it for my rdm, nice to have for blm) 5/8 MP merit (handy for solo, 8/8 maybe useful for Elv or Galka)
You can also consider to merit: INT (Probably you are same as me 5/5 STR...) +HP merit (For taru only) -Enmity merit (Not necessarily need until you can deal good dmg) -spell interruption (Maybe good for solo but not very significant if not having -spell interruption gears)

When I switched to MP build, my blm/rdm HP is 688.

My max. HP with MAB build is 908. 688/908 = 75.7% = not in yellow HP but able to trigger the latent of Sorcerer's Ring.
Summary: MAB in gears = max. +42% HQ staff = 15% Elemental Obi = max. 35% (day+double weather)
Max. dmg on fafnir = 2670 MB. (with only 37% MAB on gears) Max. dmg on Kirin = 1515 MB.
Rooms to improve: Novio Earring, HQ a.hands and HQ weskit. Relic pants on right day. Edit: Spirit Lantern is 10% MAB if you aren't as lazy as me not to solo that ENM.
Edit: Some Suggestions: - If you plans to solo at later level, level your rdm as Subjob. Gravity is handy. - Priority to merit: lv1 Burst II > lv1 Freeze II > Lightning/Ice Potency > Elemental Skill > get more AM2 spells or finish Burst II or Freeze II - Get HQ Thunder Staff if you can. Then HQ Ice. - MUST get Elemental Obi. At least Thunder and Ice one. They are free of charge and no need to fight UFO!! - Get rid of a habit to cast DoT spells if the mob/NM can be slept. - Don't abuse STUN. Hate generated from STUN is more than that of Provoke. - Suppose you want to bring BLM to HNM scene, prepare to get resisted 99% of time in SKY. Be familiar to Elemental Wheel, it may help to nuke AM2 or AM to lower particular elemental resistence. The best scenario is having some organised melees to do Skill Chain to MB and HQ ninja to bring elemental tools to lower resistence. (DREAM!)
