I was reading this thread yesterday. I have never done a pt in this fashion, but I have done some variations of it, so to speak.
Bugs can be better xp then flans in my experience, but it has to have some form of setup. My best bug pt was blmx5 brdx1 and we nuked in pairs. Blm's1 and 2 would nuke while 3, 4, and 5 rested. Then on the next pull 1 and 2 would rest while 3, 4 and 5 nuked. Got chain 17 at the far island bug camp.
That thread talks about flan pts getting chain 21, I have never seen this done ever! nor have I ever seen an "Infinite chain" blm pt as of yet at least.
