To start this quest, you must be level 51 (not level 50 as some sources have suggested). You must also have completed the AF1 Quest: The Sacred Katana (reward of Magoroku).
Head out to Norg and speak to Jaucribaix. He will mention that a sacred ritual to guide the lost spirits of the dead is to be performed, but that he is missing an essential item. This item is a feather from a special bird, found only in the Labyrinth of Onzozo. He will tell you that his cook, Washu, can make you bait to lure the bird out. Talk to Washu (first door on your left after passing through the doorway beneath the crossed swords), and she will tell you she can make it, but needs a Piece of Giant Sheep's Meat, a Frost Turnip, a Hecteyes' Eye and a Frost Turnip. Luckily for you, these are all easy to find on the AH in Norg (connected to Bastok's AH). Bring her the ingredients and she will reward you with key item: Washu's Tasty Wurst, which is needed to summon the bird.
Head out to Buburimu Peninsula, to the Dunes in the NE part of the area. Find the cave along the Northern shoreline. This is the entrance to Onzozo. Be aware that everything in here will check Decent Challenge or harder for a level 51. Sneak/Invis/Deoderize are highly encouraged. Stick to the left wall all the way until you see a hut. There will be a ? ? ? in this area (F-8). It will be surrounded by goblins. Selecting it will give you the option to lay the bait. When you are ready, place the bait and be prepared for a tough battle. After killing the big bird, reinspect the ? ? ? and you will receive the feather you need for the quest.
Return to Norg, and speak to Jaucribaix. He will accept the feather. If you try to talk to him again, he will ask you not to rush him. Now you play the waiting game for 24 real time hours (or until the clock resets in Japan, I am unsure which). After this time, he has finished the Great Katana, Yomotsu Hirasaka, for the ceremony. You will receive this as a key item rather than a weapon. He will ask you to take it to the 'secret beach' in Valkurm Dunes. Once there, check the shoreline for a ? ? ?. When night falls (between 20:00-4:00), examine the ? ? ? to summon two notorious monsters, Doman (Elvaan shadow) and Onryo (Ghost). Be aware that Onryo has an AoE Curse effect. You may want to warn any parties in the area that you are about to summon them and they should stand clear. With proper help, it will not take long. Once you have polished off the Onryo and Doman, examine the ? ? ? again to receive Key Item: Faded Yomotsu Hirasaka. Take this back to Jaucribaix in Norg, and enjoy your fancy new kicks.
