One of the most devastating 2-hour Abilities in FFXI (according to my consideration) is that of the Samurai: Meikyo Shisui
Why?
First let me explain the design of this ability:
By the use of the SAMs 2-hour your TP is instantly charged to 300% and as long Meikyo Shisui is in effect every Weapon Skill only takes away 100 TP regardless how high your TP gauge is.
Simply said: With Meikyo Shisui a Samurai can blow off 3 Weapon Skill at once without using any additional tricks like Meditate or having 100+ TP and using a WS right before using the 2-hour.
Along with those tricks just mentioned a Samurai may be able to do up to 5 WSs (maybe even six).
This leaves a high potential of producing damage that leaves many frozen tonsils (=^.^=)
One of the potentials are very devastating skillchains, that maybe start with just doing Tachi: Enpi 3x which gives you the damage of one Distortion Skillchain + 1 additional WS and can lead to
Tachi: Jinpu >> Tachi: Kasha >> Tachi: Gekko
which produce 1 Gravitation SC and one high damage Darkness SC.
Another nice 2-hour Skillchain is
Tachi: Yukikaze >> Tachi: Gekko >> Tachi: Kasha
which produces 1 Fragmentation SC and 1 Light SC.
One point to mention on this SC is, that wielder of the relic Great Katana "Amanomurakumo" can add a Tachi: Kaiten after Tachi: Kasha to produce another Light SC (Tachi: Yukikaze must be used prior using Meikyo Shisui)
As mentioned, Meikyo Shisui holds great potential so every Samurai should work out his/her own strategy on using this Ability.
As it concerns myself I am able to produce damage in the range of 3k to 3.5k with the Darkness SC mentioned earlier (ranging mob from "Easy Prey" to "Very Tough") and i'm very sure that it is possible to extend it beyond the 6k border.
