I got dragoon the other day and i love it. I'm just wondering what i need to make me better. Cuz i see things with bonuses to attack and accuracy, but i dont know which to pick. Do i need ranged accuracy for jumping? I'm a taru so i dont know if i should go with strength stuff to do damage, or dex to make me go faster. I'd like to take dragoon all the way to AF and stuff, too bad nobody likes em after a while, hehe. Gimme some ideas cuz i dont know ^_^

To my knowledge ranged accuracy has no affect on jump. I do find though that DEX and accuracy effects do. As a Taru your strength and dexterity will be lowest compared to other races. However for DRG the formula is still basically the same. Always go for accuracy, when accuracy can not be gained go for attack. As for carrying STR additives compared to DEX, you may want to mix it up. I pty with a Hume DRG and he uses both a STR ring and DEX ring, now his stats obviously differ from yours. I can see the eyes rolling now; if I was you I would use the parser program and check the diff between all dex as to a mix. The Hume I pty with is right on par with me for every thing. As never playing as a Taru, I have no first hand knowledge to the effectiveness of DEX and STR bonus's for melee for that race. I do know that to be successful you need accuracy bonus gear. The person who killed the DRG job quest dragon for me was a taru (Hippo) he used 2 sniper's rings. I am pretty sure that a mix of rings will work well for you as long as you are buying the top rings (balance, deft etc.) and use dex bonus gear. If you find you are missing a lot go to all dex. You have to face the obvious you’re a little man which deals lil melee damage. Just remember that it is better to deal some than none. Oh one last piece of advice keep your wyvern well fed, if it gets hungry you never know. Some thing about the hand that feeds you…..^^.
P.S. As always this is just my opinion. It may be right, it may be dead wrong. It is opinion gained through my experiences. Best of luck ^^.

Yeah i ended up gettin a dex ring, i had been missin on the jump sometimes, works pretty well... Tarus arent that weak tho, im lvl 16 so far and can kill tough gobs on my own, thats pretty good to me, heh, specially after being a mage for so long... and for a zillionth time, i am a girl, i know tarus are kinda asexual unless they have a ponytail, but im a girl... ill post some more pictures to drill it into everybodys brains ^_^

Here is Angellos' formula on what gear to buy.
Hume= More Attack then accuracy, as a Hume you have more accuracy already then Elvaan so you can risk having lower accuracy gear.
Elvaan= Mostly accuracy because elvaan have naturally high attack and poor accuracy.
Galka= Same as elvaan mostly accuracy because galka also have natural strength over accuracy
Mithra= More Attack gear, Mithra are very accurate so like humans they can also benefit from having more power.
Taru= Balanced, Taru have poor strength and accuracy so its good to balance your gear out.
Pretty much if an Item gives you more attack or accuracy then another then you should take it. Even if its like a lvl 10 item and your lvl 55 like battle gloves are a good piece of armor for drgs untill you can afford spiked finger guantlets. Also always take attack and accuracy gear over str and dex gear because if you do the math it takes 2 points of str to equal one point of attack and 3 points of dex for one point of accuracy (at least I think thats the accuracy formula not sure on that one). Always equip as much Attack and Accuracy gear with the numbers balanced for your race and you will be a dragoon damage dealing machine
