Ok...I have a question...
I was orginally planning to fight Maat as blm, but since I can't lvl my blm anymore due to not finding parties, I decided to lvl my brd. Is it hard to fight Maat as brd? What's a good sub for brd to fight him as?

level a job for Maat fight? @_@;
Well... brd's maat fight is relatively easy. It's a fight of endurance. You can't access your subjob in Maat fight.

Maat fight is so you can get lvl 75. If you don't fight Maat, the highest lvl you can be is 70.

Just a question, with the maat fight, do you have to do it for every job individually? Or do you only have to beat him once with one job? I'm raising this question has I've heard that getting the lvl cap raised with the ToAU jobs (COR, PUP, BLU) is done differently than all of the others.

You only need to fight Maat once (you will not lose exp points if you lose). You do not need to fight him for every job. However, you can fight him again if you wanted to.

Ahh cool. I've also read out if you defeat maat with all of the jobs (except COR, PUP and BLU) you get the Title "Champion of the World" or something like that and a "Maat's Cap". It looks like it'll take alot of work for that but be worth it... maybe.

Leesc posted it on the forums. You might want to try searching for it. I found it: rockhak.proboards2.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&n=1&thread=101&page=1

If memory serves, you needn't get all jobs to 75 to get the Maat's cap. You simply must defeat Maat with every job, and since he is fightable at 66, in theory, you could have every job at 66 and get the Maat's cap. I have seen the screenshots of the Job Levels that shows all 75s, but I thought I would point out it is not a requirement to obtain the cap.

Hi, I'm new to the LS but I'm 75 BRD my first job to 75, Maat was easy for me took me 1/3 tho because first try I went in blindly at Lv 69 and 2nd time I went in prepared and fully equiped at Lv 70 but I ran out of time :( 3rd times the charm I went in and showed him whose bard ^.~ if you need a strategy to beating Maat I can post the way I did it which is the way most people did it.
