I haven't posted on this in a little while lol here goes lol. The main pieces of Black armor to get are Plastron and Black Cuisses. They are extreemly good armor for Drk's. They add up to a total of +12 str +30 att and +27% dmg taken. I have been using both a lot in XP partys and my results are great. Using a Plastron may take away 12.5 acc from not using a Hauby but as Drk with capped scythe skill and Diabolic Eye it doesn't hurt me to bad. I do not miss to often and I hit like a truck lol. In TP gear I hit for around 100-180 dmg on XP mobs and have around 460 attack. I also switch gear out for ws and get a killer 491 att and +53 str. I sub sam mostly because it gives me extra TP gain and Hasso. The down side to Black armor.....think we all know lol that its the +%dmg taken from each piece. With just the two pieces I use its +27% lol and that adds up fast because I end up taking a few hits at vary start of the fight. Usually what happens is (NIN) vokes at start and I either hit the mob for 150+ dmg or I crit hit it for around 290-330 and the NIN misses 1 of his swings and the mobs is instantly pissed off at me lol. The use of Black armor is like a double edged sword it give you more power but also gets you more hate which in turn gets you killed. But imo I think it is worth it to Drk's to get these 2 pieces because they really do help a lot. Hope this post is useful to the Drk's and those aspiring Drk's in the LS

I have to say of all the posts that Shash has made, this one is far and away the best in terms of not giving me a horrible headache to read. Personally, I would have split it into two paragraphs just to give the eyes a little bit of a break, but on the whole, a vast improvement. Way to go Shash!
