I just bought a ps3 lol because my Xbox died on me and I am going to have to send it in for repairs. I heard FFXI can be played on Ps3 but idk how to install it if you can. I put in my old ps2 installation cd and a screen pops up saying you need Partition of 10 GB and you click yes or no. I click yes and it tells me partition cannot be created and to go to playstation store and download PS2 System Data. I go to Playstation store on ps3 and I cannot figure out where ps2 system data is. Can anyone tell me what to do? I'm so lost with this shit lol been trying to figure it out for like 5h.... thx

dude I don't think it will work cuz it was Ps2 format so I don't think that it will install the hole programe like I said its Ps2 format idk I could wrong but they only way you gona get it to work is I think if you download a program or buy a program that alows it to be installed I honistly don't know but you might wona ask around like goto the ps3 website or SE website im am not totaly sure but ps3 to me kinda sucks and with the 40gig wtf and no play back thats crapy.

shash this is how it goes, go to playstation store and under i forgot what u can download the free ps2 format thingy that lets u install ffxi on ps3 once u install that u can begin to do the install btw the graphics wont look like xbox 360 just to give u a heads up

Ok I couldn't find PS2 data at playstation store. I redid my utility I believe and now it says in need at least 1158 MB of free space to install on Hard Disk. This sucks lol so now I prolly have to go buy a new HDD for my PS3

may I ask shash what version did you get the 60 hrz or the 40hrz cuz if you got the 60hrz it would be a peace of cake but if you got the 40hrz well your gona have problems 40hrz can not do as much as the 60hrz version so yeah thats I rather stick to the 360 even tho I am on my 4th. :(

I have a 60g PS3 and have no issues with FFXI on it other then the graphics are ment for ps2.

Wooot I figured out the problem lol. I am not good at looking shit up on Playstation store lol... thats all I can say lol XD should be playing tomarrow :D

omg lmao I was joking but if you wanna go there, lets scroll down the general forum list to dentays 360 threads. I think there is only 2 up atm but in every previous page there is a dentay 360 thread, post, or other random BS. In fact dentay you post more about the 360, in almost every thread you can, then anything else.
